I like the 901 atomiser much more than the Classic - but prefer the Classic mouthpiece & bigger carts... The 901 carts don't last 2 minutes without needing filling or topping off.

Here is my solution - cost=free, result=superb!

Tools:
Hacksaw, dead Classic atomiser & a 901 atomiser.

Remove the gubbins out of the end & cut 1cm off the end of the Classic tube.
Keep the rubber seal/ring (This was a generic Classic atomiser - not a Janty)...
Cut the outer tubing of the 901 to just below the level of the wirewool - carefully!

Push the rubber seal/tube over the 901 until it is almost on all the way.

Put a Cart in one end of the tube and twist the 901 in the other end, until you can feel the Cart just being pushed back out. Adjust by pushing the Cart back in until flush. The rubber seal keeps it secure & air-tight. The hole in the 901 is/should be visible.

Screwed on to the Screwdriver...

If the 901 atomiser goes to atomiser heaven, just cut down another one and replace.

It works great. Bigger cart, best atomiser & long battery life and power.

:)

Of course you don't need the Screwdriver because it will screw onto the 901 battery - but the SD makes a difference.

Now that's an idea! Does it manage to drain the classic cart OK? I prefer the classic mouthpiece but I find the ability of the pen style to actually drain the cart is poor, my best one is the black one from smokester but I have some that just will not wick at all.

Yes, 'cart drain' is as good as the Janty. The positioning of the cart & cut down 901 in the tube has to be spot on though.

The downside is that the rubber tube becomes weak when hot and if you are continually tweaking it - like me - it splits. Need to find a better way of securing & sealing it - without spending any money, which was my aim.

The vape & cart life though is spot on.

Just to update this. I used some Metal Putty (£3.99 Wickes - UK) instead of the rubber sleeve.

Rolled a think strip of putty, rolled around the cut down 901 and pushed in to position. Smoothed off and let it set.

I made 2 and have been using both constantly ever since.

901 flavor & Classic cartridge, on the Screwdriver.

Plus points:
Longer cart life between top ups.
The larger surface of the cart keeps the 901 wetter, better than the piddly 901 carts.
If you prefer to drip instead of using carts it works superbly.

Minus points:
If the atomiser dies, you need a new classic tube as well.
