The Perfumers Apprentice flavors are generally good. They're typically not as strong drop for drop as Lorann or FlavourArt flavorings.

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is a must-have, it's really tasty by itself at 15-20%.
Lime is very strong, with a taste midway between a fruit and a candy.
Cotton Candy is just 10% Ethyl Maltol in a PG base, useful to add body, smoothness and a little sweetness.

I won't recommend their tobacco flavors since I've had no success with them.

To everyone who has given me info so far, thank you very much! I tried reading the stated DIY sticky and it was written in a way most can understand, but not in a way that I could follow easily. Anyone have much experience with Perfumer's Apprentice? They seem to be the cheapest on the list that MaxUt posted.

Well, I just placed my second order with them (plus some for OSDIY) and have made juices that people have given me a lot of compliments on and I like them, too, so I say yes. I don't like the Lorann's I've tried but nothing beats Capella's Vanilla Custard!

Make sure One Stop DIY shop doesn't have a sale going, that's a really cheap way to get a lot of different flavors...:)

What percentage flavoring do you add?

Don't forget to check out PureVapes FlavorArt prices, his are the lowest that I could find. Also he has them in 3mL bottles for $1.50 apiece so you can experiment with lots of flavors without spending an arm and a leg. I just ordered from him today. I also ordered his Chocolate Caramel Truffle E-juice to see what he can do with chocolate. I can't wait to try it.

I just got some Tones liquid cherry flavor and imitation vanilla from the grocery store. Does anyone know if those can be used? They have pg and do not have corn syrup. The vanilla has water, pg, vanillin, ethyl vanillin, and sodium benzoate(preservative). The Cherry has water, alcohol(20%), pg, natural and artificial flavors, caramel color, and fd&c red 40.

I am still trying to figure out the cheapest place for flavoring. It sounds like flavoruart may have the best flavor but some places don't carry every flavor that I want. Freedomsmokeusa has all the flavors I want but it is $26 per 30ml I think.

Neither are a good idea, but also they're probably weaker than the usual flavorings we use so they aren't cost effective. Although they are both probably present in small amounts, sodium benzoate will not vaporize and neither will caramel color (basically made from sugars). Depending on how much of each there are in the flavorings, your atty will get clogged either quickly or slowly.

Those of you who use Loranne flavoring can you say if using it is like using others? For example I use PA and I add the nic/pg/vg/flavoring and that is it. I found some 1 dram Loranne flavorings at a grocerty store today fro 1.39 plus tax. I didn't buy any because I have to wait until I have saved money from not smoking. While waiting to be able to buy it, I want to learn more about it.

bluemist vaping sells diy flavoring but i haven't tried it and don't know what brand it is. does anyone know?
I have tried a few of Bluemist's flavors. They are strong, about the same strength as Capella's. Use them sparingly, they can add too much sweetness if you over-do it. According to their website, they mix their own, with water/alcohol bases. I like them, cheep nic juice there too.
