Not sure how I forgot to mention English Toffee and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream because they are also an important part of my must haves list :)

Actually, don't know how I forgot a toffee either, that was firmly on radar at one point. Normally I'd be overwhelmed with so many options, so I'm very grateful I can spend a little extra this time around. Thanks again.

Guaiacol is great to add smokiness to the flavor. You are right, too much of anything will ruin a mix IMO. Too much vinegar cancels the flavoring altogether. The FE Vanilla is one that I will say is a must have because it can be mixed with any other flavor and be good. My top FE flavors are Mango, Blackberry, Apricot, and Vanilla.

your teasing me on purpose(apricot), I know it. Does ecx have guaiacol?

Sounds like me. I have 5 plastic shoe boxes full of flavors, but I stick mainly to simple fruit mixes. I think I'm gonna have a yard sale in the Classies pretty soon...

Did I mention Dulce De Leche?:laugh: Okay, I will stop now. You may be now figuring out why I have so darn many flavors lol

wolcen, I started a thread looking for a good peanut butter and the only response was saying the capella's was the best. Let me know how it is if you get it =)Also I was going to grab the bitter wiz and MTS as well to try out on my next order. Koolada is pretty neat also, if you want something that gives a cool sensation with no flavor (to me anyways, my girlfriend said she tasted mint). I need to try a menthol tobacco with it. Oh, tobacco extract, I got heave grass from that, Sdh is trying hers soon, maybe wait to see what she has to say. I could only say not to get that, unless your looking for a grassy vape. =)

Thanks for the PB info. Guess you put me back on the fence with that one.

What's the lowest % you used with the tob extract? I think I read that one is particularly easy to overdo.

I was thinking about the koolada too but I'll probably put that off for now. Does the cooling effect linger as long as/longer than menthol crystals? That's one thing that keeps me from picking up menthol too often (just the feeling lingers too long for me). I switch flavors too much, ya know?

LOL... Dulce De Leche sounds super tasty too. That's OK, keep them coming!

While I'm bumping into that point where I have to get selective, having so many good options certainly isn't a bad thing.

Not umtil you end up with 9 large containers full of flavoring anyway :)

With Koolada one can tailor the mix to cool to extreme ice. Allot of vendors use this for their ice collections. I have only used it in a lemon ice I made before. It gives a cooling sensation without the menthol taste. At least that is what I get out of it. I have heard people using it with menthol to give a cooling effect to the menthol.

I don't know anything about the capsicum. I have read once upon a time it is not that safe to inhale. However, since the computer crash of 2011 I don't have my research.

I did find this link: it is long but worth looking at if your considering capsicum to your diy. Final Report on the Safety Assessment of Capsicum Annuum Extract, Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract, Capsicum Annuum Resin, Capsicum Annuum Fruit Powder, Capsicum Frutescens Fruit, Capsicum Frutescens Fruit Extract, Capsicum Frutescens Resin, and Capsaic

Oh, and I like TFA Peanut Butter although it is more peanut than butter IMO. I have not tried Capellas yet.

I have this flavor and have been playing a bit with it as a stand alone. Any suggestions on what percentage to add to a tobacco flavor to make it 555-ish?

Thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out sdh. So dang tricky figuring out what's safe/isn't since it's all so new still. I was considering it to add just the tiniest amount I possibly could to add a spec of TH to tobacco mixes. While cough-inducement is pretty different than long term exposure, the following I found interesting at least:
A review of the 20-year clinical experience has failed to uncover a single serious adverse event associated with capsaicin cough challenge testing in humans
Source: Safety of Capsaicin Cough Challenge Testing*

One of the reasons I was actually looking for ways to increase TH (unusual desire for me), is due to some info I recently came across that's convinced me to at least try cotton (yes, cotton!) for a wick. It is my understanding that TH is reduced when using cotton.

TB was 1 drop in 7ml. have to get back to you on the koolada

I would not think that you would need much but I don't do tobaccos. Maybe someone else will have a better answer for you.

It is tricky to figure out what is safe/unsafe for inhalation. We probably will not know until studies are complete which could take years. That's one of the reasons that I try to stay as low as possible with my flavoring. We already have good info on inhaling PG and nicotine. But not the flavorings.

If I needed capsaicin to keep me off the cigs, I would use it :) Of course that is JMO.
