So, I haven't been around for quite awhile now, but I haven't abandoned my eGo or my passion for DIY. I've been busy with around-the-house, or at-your-local-convenience-store flavoring experiments. Here are my findings on a few of them.

Ice drops- Some of you may have seen the small ~3ml bottles at convenience store counters before. They stood out to me instantly just for an extra 3ml bottle to make cooky concoctions of delicious, or not quite e juices. Then I thought they might make a good flavor. So I bought a few and mixed about 10% into some ~ 20mg 50/50 pg/vg and it was quite good. A fresh mint flavor for an attracively cheap price.

Gatorade- Orange gatorade, in particular. I chose orange because it seems to be the gatorade with the most intense flavor. Anyway, same mixing procedures as above and this also produced an interesting flavor.

Horchata-I just used some horchata from a local mexican resturant as the flavoring. Quite good, very cinnaminny.

Peanut Butter-I mixed about 1 part peanut butter and 3 parts water and shook it in a sports drink mixer-bottle. At first I mixed it with a bit of RY4 flavoring to see how that would taste and it wasn't so bad, but after that I tried just my peanut butter water as the flavoring. RIP atty. I hope to never taste anything that horrible again.

..More to come

I tend to take DIY a little too far, but I can't help myself, the possibilities are endless! I encourage anyone who vapes to start DIY mixing. And if any of you find some great around the house flavorings, let me know.

I think I'll stick to buying DIY Flavorings meant for the lungs. I would be scared to vape some things especially with all the additives and such you find in store bought items. Just a little too extreme for me.

If you do find anything that seem a little less scary to try and vape. Keep us posted.

Happy DIYing!

I thought about trying some unsweetened Kool-aid (the little packets you have to add sugar to) and dissolving and filtering it. I'm too chicken because of the ingredients listed, not knowing what they would do to me if inhaled in a vapor. Mixing peanut butter itself and vaping it? lol I'll stick with regular flavor concentrates. lol

The KoolAid reference brought a flashback why I refuse to drink the stuff anymore.
In the Navy during the 70s we used to take a 5 gal bucket add water and 1 packet of government KoolAid (we called it Bug Juice) and would soak the tarnish and sea grime off of brass fire fighting fittings. Once done the brass was shiny and clean with minimal scrubbing. I swore off the KoolAid stuff then.
Vaping it.. no thanks
