I just finished 20ml of French Vanilla that I won in a Memorial Day contest here on ecf.
When I found out I won the contest I sent an email to Dawn at DIY Flavorshack and told her what ejuice I would like. It came in a flash-I had it in three days. I remember thinking that such excellent customer service for a non-paying customer was a good sign.
I smelled it-smelled like french vanilla- and put it away to rest up from it's long trip. My experience during my short vaping history has been that juices don't taste like they smell when you first get them and everything is better after steeping. I intended to wait a week before trying it, but it ended up being a little over two weeks.
I smelled it-smelled like french vanilla-and tried it in a simple evod setup-it tasted like french vanilla. Really good french vanilla. So good that I put it in a Smok Pyrex Bottom Coil (PBC) tank on my MVP and vaped until it was gone (with the exception of an afternoon of Red Hots when I ran out of the DIYFS French Vanilla when at work).
The flavor was light, clear and refreshing. I personally like my flavors a little on the stronger side but it was definitely strong enough. The aroma was very nice-those around me appreciated it.
One evening several days into it I hit one of those periods where the flavor fades. Usually I switch to another flavor for a while but something unusual happened here. It started to taste like fresh spring water. I mean spring water or good well water where the minerals are perfect. It reminded me of camping or visiting my great-great-grandfather's house when I was very small and drinking from the bucket of water from his back porch well-water so good that I would happily pay for it now if I could find it. When I got up the next morning the french vanilla was back, which was fine with me, but I did enjoy the different experience for a few hours the evening before.
DIYFS French Vanilla is now one of my very favorites, and I have already ordered more.
Three thumbs up.
