As for buying at the local supermarket you have to make sure they're free of oils and sugar and you have to know the ingredients- some are okay for eating but not for vaping- fructose is ok.

Edit: you'll also find many supermarket flavorings have no sweetener= sour taste.

I'm fairly new at this myself, but I understand that you Do Not Want to Use Flavorings That Contain Oil or Sugar.

Water insoluble extracts - Lemon oil, orange oil... - Do not mix well with your base liquids. Sugars (in most vanilla extracts in stores) will burn "dirty", and gum up your atomizer coils; if not burn them up (I presume because they would not allow the coil to cool off sufficiently between puffs).

Hi guys, just want to know can I go to my local supermarket and buy some normal food flavouring or do I have to buy special flavouring to make e liquid. If so can you recommend any sites to buy flavours from.
