when calculating the PG / VG , do you include the nic base and the flavor . For example in my case the Flavor is in PG liquid and I usually add about 5 mils of it to my juice . Do I need to consider the flavor as PG liquid and then subtract it from the total amount of PG i need and only add whats left of the pure PG ?

Yes - most flavors are in PG base and should be included in the calculation.
Same with the nic base -
You can figure total mls of PG, total mls of VG, and total mgs of nic - BUT
I highly recommend a calculator!
If you use a PC, this one is super - it lets you "save as" to adjust your recipe for next time, etc.
For instance, I had to mix a batch of my favorite flavor using 60mg nic/VG base last time - it was on sale - and a couple clicks, it did the math for me perfectly without worrying if I got it right...

yes figure the PG/VG base in the flavor and or nic base as well. If you use 100mg nic base the amount is so small it does not really matter though. But if you are like me and sometimes use 20% flavoring that base does matter.

Why, isn't 100mg/ml nic base still like 90% PG or VG.
