Oh yeah i was deffo going to put it in a glass bottle heh and not taking any meds, my taste buds are better than ever. my supper tasted amazing my beer tases like nectar of the gods and chockolate is heaven. no vape tongue. And i did shake each flavour bottle throughly before adding.
I would alert FA about your problem.....maybe they will send replacements? Or offer suggestions? If it was just one or two of the flavors, you may have just gotten a bad batch? But all of them? Very strange.

eta...another thing I have noticed about any flavorings through out the years I have been diying.....is that the flavorings themselves also benefit from steeping. Sometimes if a batch is brand new, it hasn't had time to become the flavor intended. just a thought.

:)

Would you be willing to post two, or three, or your recipes exactly as you made them? Use the specific flavor names; the precise amount of ingredient used, in the manner measured (e.g. drops/milliliters/grams/?); and do so for all ingredients, including flavors, PG, VG, and nicotine? (Also include what the nicotine composition is... strength, PG/VG ratio, and source/mfg.) The more detail you can provide; the greater the chance we can spot where the trouble might be.:)

I understand that the flavourArt flavors are being measured by counting drops; how are you measuring your PG, VG, and nicotine?

Bedtime for me, but I would also suggest trying a single-flavor mix if you haven't. It's *possible* that some of your flavors are sort of canceling each other out, in a way. Doesn't seem likely for ALL of them, but still...

Good luck, and do what IDJoel says! We all would like to see this solved for you!

Try without the 'Flash'. Just read some reviews on the FA site and it tells of hiding other flavors.

Most of the reviewers except the one I spoke of above are using with tobacco flavoring. Its suppose to give a hit like nic so that nic can be cut down on? They say it tastes like chili.

Just a thought did you say you was counting drops on your flavors? If so you may want to measure your drops. Usually 3% pineapple stands out with a under 10% flavor mix.
How do you mean by measure my drops? Thanks for the reply :)
S&S i will deffo try that. Though i did not add a flash to all the mixes i tried only a couple of the 3mg ones to see if it madea a difference. Will try that tho thanks :)

If you have something to measure a ml (a syringe) see how many drops it takes your flavor bottle to make ml.

Ahh i see what you mean, i only have syringes tho to measure, wil try, it will be a bit fiddly but should be able to stopper a 1ml syringe and then see how many fill it. thanks for the tip :) The syringes i have, the needles are like little plastic onces and cannot fit into the bottles, i can take the bottle tops off but they are tricky to open and i thought that just using drops i would cut the chance of contamination down and less wasteage.

According your recipe sheet you are getting 35 drops per mi. Just drop that many into a container and pull it up into the syringe to verify that is what you are getting. Not all drip bottles are the same and so many other variables.

Yeah, you are kinda learning the hard way the drops are not too accurate. Good news is that syringes are relatively inexpensive and you can always pick some up at a pharmacy if all else fails. Most vendors do carry them tho along with the diy supplies. Also make sure they are luer lock ones. That way you can get blunt needles that screw on the ends for a secure fit. Remember to get luer stoppers also. Sometimes when making larger batches, I put a stopper on the end of a 3ml or 5ml syringe and pour into the syringe from the flavor bottle to the ml line needed then pour back out into my mixing bottle. Much more accurate.

:)

OP ordered a starter kit from a company...that included his choice of 10 FA flavorings from a specified list of only certain ones. Could be, that the flavorings offered are older...which is why the selection to choose from was limited in the first place. It's a way for vendors to provide flavorings with their kits and at the same time use up their older stock first.

In my post about why I wouldn't recommend the starter kit (on page 1 of his thread about DIY starter kits), I mentioned among other things...that blunt needle tips, (instead of the plastic needles in the kit he got), would be best to use. They're dirt cheap at FT, too.

Hm. Well, the company he ordered from was FlavourArt UK, and it looks to me like like the full range of flavors is listed there in the drop down selections? This shouldn't be an issue of a scummy reseller pulling a fast one, though I don't know how the various FlavourArt entities are managed.

Gratch, what do you see for the "best by" info on your bottles? The two nearest me, ordered in the last couple of months show 06/2018 and 02/2018.

I understand why you suggested that about diy kit but my funds were tight and after lot of research i worked out this was the best value for money i could get at the moment. this is the kit i got

Nicotine Free Eliquid Mixing Kit

as you can see there isnt a list of certian flavours to get there is the full list of all FA flavours. and i would much rather give a company in england my money than a chineese one and have to wait a long time for it to arrive. Blunt needles also wouldnt fit into the bottles without taking the tops off and damaging the lock on the top of each bottle, and i can do that with my stumpy needle :) I probably could have got a few ingredients cheaper and better syringe, but buying some from here and some from there the cost of the postage would put the cost sigificantly higher than what i payed for my kit.

I will try making a single flavour juice in the morning, i think strawberry would be good to go with at 7% so .7ml from a syringe. Thank you all for the positive helpful feedback.

Morning Tazzle :) I checked the dates on all the bottles, one goes out of date this month the sour wizard, 8 go out in 2018 2 in 19 and 1 in 20 so thats good at least, i also have got intouch with the company. Maybe it is just a case that they use some base ingredient and my receptors dont like it or something. I am confused :)

My mistake regarding the underlined part above. I confused the kit you ordered with another one I'd checked out for someone else. Yours did indeed offer many FA flavorings to choose from.

Also, I'd recommended getting some blunt needle tips and bottles that weren't PET (for your eliquids) from FT, because they're cheap there. I never recommend getting everything needed for DIY from China.

The kit came with some nice HDPE bottles, the plan was to make testers in the pet bottles then larger batches in the hdpe ones, the plan however is lost in the subway somewhere eating a mars bar and talking to girls.
I just dont understand what is going on, I added meringue to 4 ot 5 of the testers and thats really all i can smell or taste in them. I have tested the aromas of the pure concentrate and i can smell it so its not an olfactory problem.
I will go have a sleep maybe the plan will get his groove on and get with the program.

Once again a BIG thank you to all for your wisdom and patience :)
