Thin Mints.... Sour Apple.....
WOW! Thin Mints: I dont think i could say enough about this... its 99.9% spot on Girl Scout Cookie Thin Mints... Why the .01% reduction? Well this juice behaved wierd on me, the first ~hour i vaped it... 100% spot on Thin Mint.. but then the flavor shifted on me, the cocoa took hold and the mint took back seat.. the taste shifted to a more "dark" chocolate flavor that can be found in the "andies candies" after dinner mints. I will point out that the flavor was "dark" to begin with, and by no means tasted like milk chocolate... Now this is NOT a bad thing, and the flavor did shift back into thin mint mode after a while.. it flips back and forth for me... I really enjoy the way the mint rolls over my tounge and in additon to that, i LOVE the cool refreshing feeling the vapor has on my face when im just "puffing" and/or french inhaling.. it really has a revitalizing cool feeling on my skin.. don't know why... I still have a lil less than half the 6ml bottle of this stuff.. and the ONLY reason i have this much is because im "rationing" it out to myself... Like i think i may have a serious problem here... at least my neighborhood girl scouts are no longer safe in the event this bottle runs dry before i get a new one.....
Sour Apple: This is listed as a "test" flavor on DIY, dawn claims she isnt happy with the "puker" on this... and really i cannot think of a better word to describe this... 100% spot on "Puker" Sour Apple Liquor.. the stuff thats all bright green... yea this juice taste just like that... and its my opinion that dawn should leave the "puker" alone on this and boost the apple... This 6ml bottle is bone dry.. I vaped it that way within about a day. Again i WILL be ordering a larger bottle of this and it may become my "all day" vape.
Pomegranate/Clove: This flavor was a request that dawn mixed up for me at my request (i was shocked to learn she takes requests...elated is a better word...) Im not sure that reviewing this juice would be fair as it is not something you can buy from DIY, it has not passed dawn's own testing standards. That being said.... Interesting flavor combo... The clove was pretty damn close to what i recall a Djarham (sp?) tasting, only the pom cut it a bit with some sweetness. Now the pom flavor was killed by the clove, which i kinda see happening with any flavor added to clove.. but what im stoked to have learned about this; clove, sweetened up a bit is fantastic.. Im going to speak with Dawn on my next order about trying this again, but seeing if there is any way to "sweeten" the clove with out modifying the flavor of the clove itself.
DIYflavorshack is on its way to becoming my primary juice supplier.. In my initial review of DIY, i made mention of "middle ground" pricing... after receiving my first order... Im here to tell you... waaaay worth the price. Its not always true that you get what you pay for.. but in DIY's case.. 100% the juice is worth the squeeze.... Thanks Dawn.
