well I have only been vaping for about a month, and the whole time I was vaping this past month I was using prefilled cartomizers from blu at 16mg. Well I bought some juice to refill them myself, and got 18mg. I have been vaping about a week and 1/2 at the 18mg as much as I vaped at the 16mg. I noticed I am feeling lightheaded and dizzy a little bit throughout the day. If I put the ecig down and don't touch it for an hour then I start feeling a little better, and I drink water as well. Could this dizzyness have to do with the fact I upped the nicotine level in the juice? should I go back down to 16mg? My body just doesn't seem to cope with it. and the juice I bought is vg base, from Johnson Creek, the same e juice they use in the blu cartomizers so I know it's not an allergy.

It could be something in the flavoring that is not agreeing with you. The 2 mg differance is not a huge jump up and I will guess that the flavor is the culprate. I felt this way with a chocolate flavour e juice but not from the cappuccino juice I got from the same vendor. both juices were 18 mg strength. I might also suggest that you don't hold your hits in just inhale and exhale the like breathing, or inyour mouth and directly out your nose. You are most likely intolerant to something in the flavoring in the juice being the PG, or whatever else possibly alchohol.

Well I have an 8 flavor sample pack, they are 3 ml bottles, and I am feeling that way with all of them. they are all VG. Which I was using the same brand in the blu kit I bought but at a lower dose of nicotine, and was feeling fine. So I don't know if it's all of these flavors that don't like me, or if it's the higher dose nicotine. I would hate to think that all the flavors in Johnson Creek's red oak line hate me..lol I have never tried a VG liquid before, always used the VG and been fine up until I got this sample kit.

Never tried a PG is what I meant to say..

Hi, yes I would say if you were doing fine on 16 mg that 18 is a little to high for you, I use 18 and I have used 24 in the past and while it doesn't seem like much the 24 will make me light headed...good luck and congrats on one month :)

Thanks a lot for the reply. See in my smoking days, I always smoked full flavor menthol 100's. So I thought the high nicotine level was what I needed, but I'm guessing Med-High is what I should get from now on.

Not only is the extra 2mg's possibly a bit too high, you are also filling your own now, and as such probably getting a stronger vape than the prefilled's. I have never found a prefilled that had a good enough hit to match a carto I filled myself.

I would suggest going back to 16 mg's if you can for awhile. If it had not been an entire month I would think perhaps the dizziness might be from withdrawal (i was dizzy that first week I put down analogs) but I would imagine it wouldn't be that after an entire month analog free.

I've been vaping for about 4 mo.s and still get dizzy now and then if I get busy and 'forget' to vape for awhile.

well I moved up to the 18mg because the johnson creek sample kit only comes in one strength. when I order bigger bottles I can pick the strength. So what do I do until I can have money to buy lower dose e -liquid? I won't have any money for juice in a couple months, as I am trying to move to another state, no money to spare at the moment. I have tons of 18mg juice though. Also another thing I am wanting to know, If the higher dose nicotine is making me feel dizzy, why am I still craving it all day long? It seems like this thing is in my hands at least 12 hours a day, I just can't seem to put it down, even though it's making me feel like I want to fall over. Johnson Creek sells 11mg strength, so I will buy that when I can.

I would like to say I have been @ 24mg since the beginning, but today I felt.....too happy. I have a provari and I just swapped out my 1.5 for a 2.5 ohm so I could try out higher voltages....

I know it's a no no, but, I feel happy like drunk happy. It's nice, but has anyone else had these effects from higher voltages?

Some people experience an increase in nicotine intake at higher voltages, because you tend to go through the juice a bit faster.

You can always pick up some pure VG at the local drugstore and cut your liquid with that. Just make sure that it's the highest purity stuff you can get... it'll still be dirt cheap (last time I bought some, it was like 2 bucks). It will reduce the flavor of your juice a bit, but it'll also reduce its potency. :)

Rite Aid might have it -- Walgreens doesn't have it on their website, which leads me to believe that they probably don't have it in-store, either. You want USP-grade vegetable glycerin, though -- it's food-safe.

Ask the pharmacist at Rite Aid if you can't find it, although I've heard most people get it in the health and beauty products section (usually near the rubbing alcohol, of all things). If you feel uncomfortable telling them that you plan on vaping it, you can always say you're trying to make homemade lotion or soap, as those are the common uses for it! :D

I've heard that Walmart does in fact carry it -- went looking on Walmart.com and sure enough, they have it (also in health/beauty as a skin product), so if you have a Walmart nearby, that's a possibility too. Looks like this there: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Humco-Skin-Protectant-Glycerin-Usp-6-oz/10417582

Health food stores are also good backup places to find it, oddly.
