I ordered a vapecige using the gear best discount code. I couldn't make it for cheaper so I pulled the trigger. Maybe as one of my next ones I'll try DIY but I want to thank those who advised me and iv bookmarked all the stuff. I'll continue to watch this thread still though as I find it interesting

That's really what I'm looking for! The idea is just amazing! I really hoping to see it in aluminum (rectangle shape maybe?).
Is it available? Did the plastic seems solid?
A photo from behind?
Thx!
solid. Feels really good in the hand. The mod itself weighs almost nothing, so it is basically the weight of the batteries. Walter at steammonkey puts about 3 to 5 up for pre-order per week and makes them as they sell. This is by far the best mod I own and much more pocketable than my Boxer 350I. The battery cover is screwed on and I thought this would be a problem for changing the batteries, but the battery life is so good that I haven't needed to change the batteries yet. Been vaping since yesterday and still have 65%.

<3 I just contact steammonkey now ;) !!!

Did you think it is possible to use paper sand and to paint that mod?

I really think it will be amazing in aluminum! I don't trust plastic soooo much for the screws (some times and the "female side" of the screw will brake...)!

Thank you so much for your answer!
Nice vape!

Not sure about sanding and painting. I have massaged back and forth with Walter (really cool dude) and he has told he more than once that if I have any problems with it to let him know and he will take care if it.

From VS FB:

Hey Guys,

The specs are as followed: 11.1 3 celled LiPo that is removable and user serviceable, it has an authentic Evolv DNA200 chip, a zip charging port, self adjusting 510 connector, and the exact dimensions are 3.5" x 1.9" x0.94". We do not have a final price point yet, but we will be releasing more information very soon.
-Victor

The rubberized finish is stronger on the DNA 200, and it is anodized black under the finish just in case your device suffers a fall and is nicked.

So a user replaceable battery in a roughly 89mm x 48mm x 24mm enclosure means that VS could be running a 1500mAh battery (if they chose wisely...something like the Elecrifly GPMP0845 and use a right angle JST-XH connector), but I suspect it is more likely a 1000mAh-1300mAh.

Thinkin' the usable space for a battery pack depends on the design as previous VS's had a daughter board in addition to the dna board. Will be interesting to see the specs.

True, if they are intent on having the fire button light up like on the rDNA40. From the looks of the pre-release pics, they are using the onboard buttons, so I will definitely be interested in seeing how they wire this.
