I had got a dna 30 clone the other day and I build 1.0 ohm coil on a Russian 91 % and I fire the dna at 13.7 watts just fine then I try to lower the watts any lower than 13.7 watts it doesn't fire very good this happens with a 1.1 ohm build but I can fire at 12.6 watts just fine any lower it won't fire is thus normal for these mid I'm new to these mod I use a mech mod until a week ago I got this just wondering if this is normal or is it a bad one any input PLZ

I have a couple of these DNA 30 type mods, and I've found some differences with manufactures. Two that I received made by Cloupor were very good devices, with accurate ohmmeters and since their release, very durable--used daily. My most recent came from Fasttech, and the ohmmeter was reading about 20% too high. After a week of use, my wife exclaimed, "What's this doing?" and smoke was boiling out the back. I unscrewed the atty, and the back, and the board was baked.
You might check your resistance of your build on your stand alone ohmmeter, Check the contacts for undue crud and baked juice. See if charging your battery on your old charger helps. I use my mechs still, but the box is pretty good almost always.

When you fire is the resistance blinking? The clone of the DNA 30 board, along with the real DNA 30 board, has no circuitry to lower the voltage of the battery. I am fairly sure the specs for both boards specify 4 volts as the minimum. With a 1 ohm resistance that is 16 watts.

You are using the device outside of it's intended range.

The SX350 chip bucks, drops, voltage and should have no problem supporting your setup.

It can go to .5 ohm with no problem say I got a .5 build on there which I did it wouldn't fire unless I turned it up to about 25.5 watts then it was good. The ohm meter does blink I did notice at 1.0 ohm at 13.7 watts when firing the screen dims then when I let off it back to normal it does go black but dim but like I said I fire it at 13.5 watts and 1.0 ohm I get vape but not much then I turn it up to 13.7 watts it's good and with the 1.1 ohm it fire great at 12.5 any lower does get much vape I got vtc 5 and effest purple 35 amp as batteries I tried both same results
