dna 30 reading "too hot"

My dna 30 box mod is reading"too hot". After unscrewing an atty i saw that my 510 connector came out it housing. When I opened up my mod I saw that the negative wire snapped off from the 510 connector. I took out the batteries and let the mod sit for two days and then re solder the negative wire back to the 510 connector and put the batteries back in and it's still reading "too hot" . This device is running on two 18650's all wires are 20 gauge and seemed to be well built except for that 510 connector. Need all the input I can from you guys I just hope my board isn't fried :-(

Shouldn't be fired because the dna30 has short circuit protection. Seems like the software is messed up, send evolve email and see what they say.

You should of returned it before messing with it.

Is the screen locked reading "too hot"? can you access other functions?

Too hot is a rare error, if it's stuck on that it indicates a significant problem.

No cannot access other functions. I sent an email to evolv just waiting a reply but not to optimistic

Can you try disconnecting the power to see if it resets, if not then I believe its a RMA.
