DNA board and IMR batteries questions

Hey there guys!

I'm contemplating adding a dna board to my box mod. So far I have stuck to protected batteries, and would have to switch to IMR with the DNA thing.

Since I'm not sure if my charger is safe enough to charge IMR batteries without overcharging and blowing them up, I was gonna get the charge addon for the DNA and use that to charge it. So here's the questions:

1. Is the integrated charger from Evolv safe? As in, can I charge it relatively unattended?
2. Can it be used as a passthrough?

1. Should be safe, only don't forget to switch to 4.2 volts instead of 3.6 volts.

No matter how safe a charger or battery claims to be, I would not leave any battery unattended. Goes for cell phones, laptops, shavers or any rechargeable device.
