Well - not really enough information to really offer genuine help, but Im biased to Reo so I say REO. :D

In all seriousness dna is great and so is Reo - but they are 2 very different animals. If you have and prefer to continue using KFs and other RBAs then DNA. If you enjoy dripping and you are sick of the hassle then Reo. The two main options are very different depending on what you *want* out of your hypothetical new device :)

Don't have a Reo yet, can you change the toppers on them or are they set?

A Reo is a bottom feeder, so it has a 6ml bottle of juice inside attached with a hose to the underside of your 510 connector. When you squeeze the bottle it feeds in fresh juice up into the atty as opposed to popping off your drip tip to feed in a new few drops. That being said you can use any bottom fed RDA or unsealed 510 atty or carto on Reo. If the diameter exceeds 14mm of an RDA you want to use, you need a Reo LP. You dont use any tanks on them - just atties/cartos or RDAs. If you are the handy sort, regular RDAs can be converted to bottom feed as well.

I just went for the Dna 30 myself. I have a 20 and love it but the 30 s have less limitations and can go sub ohm. I found a crazy good deal on the cloupor clone second generation , 1:1 clone. Coming from Anaheim. 69.00. Fluid vapes has them in stock right now at that price. I got me a red one. Just can't beat that price. Ebay has the exact same thing for 85 dollars. If your looking for a dna 30 this is a steal. 2nd generation. Can go to 30 watts no matter what the atomizer resistance is. Also will run 0.3 to 3.0 ohms. I hear shipping is pretty fast coming out of California. If your interested in grabbing a dna 30 this is a great price. Best wishes

Go with the DNA 30...You get the ability to use clearos with 510 connection as well as the ability to sub ohm drip if desired. It really is the best...the use as a mech mod with the electronic protection to keep things safe.

So couple questions about the DNA.. about how tall is it would you say compared to a vamo in 18350 mode? On fluidvapes.com it says it's only like 3" tall, is it really that compact?? Also you said it is a protected type of mod like a vamo or mvp, and not "potentially dangerous" like a mech mod? I've been looking to get another VV/VW to back up my vamo but that $70 price on fluidvapes seems like a steal for what looks like a great upgrade

Mine is a Cana Box, a Hana clone. It's slightly shorter and wider than the MVP v2. It isn't reverse battery protected, meaning if you insert the battery backwards, it will kill the electronics, so I've been told. It has adjustable watts, but not volts. It will read what the voltage is when you hit the fire button...it adjusts everything to the ohm of the coil. I sub ohm at 0.3 ohm on a Patriot RDA. It also has temperature triggered shut down...if it gets too hot, it will shut down to protect the battery, whereas a mech mod wont.

I was looking for a mech mod when I bought this. The owner steered me away from the mech in favor of the DNA 30. He's the same guy that steered me away from essentially a decorative Vision Spinner in a wooden tube in favor of my MVP. I trusted him on both purchases, and have zero regrets. He's been solid so far, so I have no reason to doubt his expertise.

Love your avatar stringplucker, yea thinking along the lines of the DNA. Just wasn't wanting anything too boxy unless it holds 2 18650s.

Thanks!

The Cloupor Cana DNA 30 is a bit boxy, and the fire button could use a more updated design, but it works well with one 18650. I have a few ideas on modifying the box to make it easier to change batteries...small thumb screws or magnets, so long as they don't harm the electronics. I also would suggest to the designers that they add a rubberized coating, or at least a deeper bead blasted finish to that it isn't slippery. Mine is the slick black version, and is a fingerprint magnet. Other than that, I love it!

Fluid vapes is where I just bought mine from! It is a steal! Ebay has the exact same dna 30 for 89 dollars right now. Also fluid vapes is out of california!! Refreshing NOT To Have To Wait For Something To Be Shipped From China to save a buck. Looked like a great deal, I couldn't pass it up. Got one in red.

I fee like I accidentally hijacked this thread.. The DNA's seem pretty awesome, I've only started to consider one of those over a vamo v5 is I have a new Kayfun waiting at my apartment and 2 more "on their way" from fasttech and I imagine the dna would push the kayfuns better than a vamo, but I never make coils under like 1.5-1.6 ohm. So I'm not real sure on what I'll end up getting yet, but thanks for your input!

Edit to realsis: Yeah I just got an EHpro kayfun from them and it shipped pretty quick! Is it built pretty solid?
