Guys

How on earth do I add text and pics to my dna board, playing with escribe but haven't a clue how to add anything

Help would be thankful

Go into 'Paint' or similar graphics software on your PC.

Create a simple graphic.

Personally I just use the Text function in Paint.

Remember the DNA200 has a mono screen, so don't bother with colours.

Use the resize function. Tick or untick the button to stop maintaIning the aspect ratio (I can't remember if it's on by defualt). Resize your image to 133 pixels by 32 pixels.

Save your image.

Now on the profile page of Escribe, load your image.

It's that easy.

I found a programme to make some but I'm just learning and these are so basic lol

Remember, the screen doesn't do greyscale very well. Certainly no color, so stick to black and white and everything will look good. If you try throwing shades of grey in there when you upload they'll be converted back to to just black and white and it will look funny. I use Photoshop but just about anything will work given the right dimensions (128x32) are the correct dimensions, but if you go a little over it will crop.
