I agree, but I can't recommend the protanks with the DNA at 7w the low end of the power scale is hot for a protank
I own a Provari, and I love it. A lot. I'll probably be getting another Provari this year.
I also own a DNA20 mod, and I'm looking at getting into a DNA30 mod, hopefully soon.
I'll never put away my Provari, because it's a great device. It comes with me almost every single day. I know that hour after hour, day after day, I can rely on it to give me a good, solid, satisfying vape.
But.
The DNA20 and the DNA30 will let you go places with a rebuildable that you can't reach with a Provari and its 3.5 amp limit. That's really not a negative, it just is what it is.
I don't HAVE to do that, but vaping is a hobby for me, and I love to experiment.

Actually DNA 30's are only Variable Wattage. Which is where you wanna be. I can increase the wattage +/- .1 with one click. You can fine tune any vape with it. I definitely recommend a Hana. Hard to get, like any other DNA 30 device, but the build quality is there. If you don't like box mods, you can go for a ZNA, but once again, they are hard as heck to get.
I just never warmed up to my provari, cause I already had a vw device when I got it. Wattage is just a lot better way to control resistance. Unless you fit in the very narrow window of the provari you will always be seeking something better.

What narrow window is that? I have both ProVari's, and a Hana DNA 30.. They all have their place in my arsenal.
Evolv was able to include step-down capability in the Kick 2, they should have included it in the DNA 30 IMO. Not everyone has the need or desire to sub-ohm.I'm vaping a ProVari with a Taifun GT @ 0.8 ohms / 3.0v right now. (11.25 watts) Plenty of vapor production and flavor..
With this resistance, I HAVE to jump to 15 watts on the Hana v3 with a fresh battery.. Same with the Hana v2 I had before this. 
EDIT: I find myself adjusting VW devices as much as my ProVari's.. To the taste of the particular juice I'm vaping.

I own both. The Hana DNA 30 is much more advanced than the Provari. I vape from the Provari with a Nautilus aspire, with an RBA I use the Hana.
All the DNA-mods have to prove themselves still. I own a provari and like it a lot. I can rely on it, drop it even. I have a Vaporshark(20) and a Futura(30)on the way. The VS comes with me outdoors nowadays but I don`t now what will happen should I drop it.
Sturdiness is a must with me, I'm a little rough on things; I've always known good things when it comes to Provaris, but I'm unsure of the build qualities on the DNAs such as VaporShark or Futura.
