I just ordered 40ml of liquid in the flavors of Cream, Caramel, Vanilla, and Friskee.

Not a tastebud issue my other liquid is on key, although it may not be now.

I am literally sad. I keep thinking could I have accidentally ordered perfume instead? No Vapor at all. It is a lower nic but I did not think that could affect vapor just TH. I mean none. I filled up each in a carto not a bit of vapor on anyone except a little with the friskee.

I have never contacted a vendor about eliquid even though I have not liked a whole lot of eliquid but should I contact them? At least to let them know their product is bad. I have ordered tons of DK liquid this looks the same but oh so different I dont know if they made it or if it is some DK gone bad I just dont know.

The vanilla and caramel truly taste like perfume. The cream has a tiny bit of a thicker taste but it is so buttery candle tasting. The friskee is ok at least it has vapor but I cant even say that it is good it just isnt as bad as the others. I so wish I had my $40 back.

I'd say that maybe you'd flooded your atty, but if you've been giving it a few tries, I doubt THAT was the problem...is it all PG? Some liquids don't seem to produce very much if they are.

As for the flavor problem, we've all been there..almost every V4L I've tried, (wait, I think it IS all of them), taste like perfume to ME. (And others, there's lots of comments regarding their taste). But, other's LOVE them.

Could also be your atty on it's way out. How many have you tried these on? Do you HAVE a new one you could try them out on?

Flavors are subjective - if I dont like something or think its weird it might not mean it IS weird, just that I dont like it.
My husband hates choc, hates it with a passion, thinks people that like chocolate are weird. I love chocolate, and think that people that DON'T like it are weird :) We both love cheese but he prefers the plain cheeses - I think those are nice but a bit boring.
Neither of us are 'wrong' - its jsut how we feel about them
If you hated something its ok to say so - it doesn't make the juice 'bad' it just means you didn't like it. As long as your review is fair, it doesn't have to be 'positive' - you are stating an opinion, not a fact.
Other people may agree or disagree with you - thats what reveiws are for :)
Post whatever you feel, as long as its not liebellous.

Sometimes you've got to have some pretty thick skin because it seems like there are always going to be posts from folks swarming to defend the supplier. But to answer the title of your post I'd say absolutely not. Personally I've gotten as much help from those warning me away from certain products as I've gotten from the happy campers. As long as it's an honest opinion and not an axe to grind I think it's helpful not only to those of us who use the product but those who sell them as well.

I think if your giving an honest review of your preferences it is OK to voice opinion. I also agree there are those on this forum who believe you should just keep your mouth shut and not say anything about "their favorite juice supplier" or vendor. Thick skin is essential in these instances whereby one can be subject to all kinds of frivolous arguments, for and against.

As to contacting the vendor of bad juice? I received in the last month some 510 cartos from a supplier that contained some of the most disgusting attempt at vapor juice one could imagine. Took me 3 boilings and vodka washes to get this stuff out of the cartos, and it still rears it's ugly head as the carto nears empty of replacement juice.

Chose not to contact them to this regard as I get to use them after washing; but will never order from them again. Sometimes when going for supplies I try some of the vendors juice in limited volume. Almost always; I file it and hook the Freedom back up to my BB and just say...

Ahhh.............

no, not all reviews have to be good. like gmav44 and captjay said, i don't think there's anything wrong with an honest review to voice your opinion either. that being said, tastes are subjective so just because someone raves or dislikes a juice doesn't mean you will either. there's always going to be a hit or miss when trying out juices, but i think that's been one of the many highlights of vaping for me. afterall, variety is the spice of life! ;)

as far as your juices go - i would try letting them sit or "age" for several days to a week and then give them a try again. i ordered some that i thought tasted off and perfumy at first too, but after several days they tasted so much better. i'm not sure if i would contact the vendor unless the juice has literally gone rancid.

i don't know what kind of PV you have, but try dripping a couple of drops on an atty to see if that helps with vapor production. like domino said, if it's an all-PG juice though, you might not get as much vapor as a juice that's mixed with VG. i just got a 5-pack of 510 cartos myself, and the first one i tried hardly produced any vapor either. i opened another one, and it was fine so maybe yours could've been a dud like my first one.

good luck to you, vleath!

Thanks. I would think if I was a vendor that I might like to hear an opinion about my juice. I have juices that I did not like of course and some cost a pretty penny but no big deal I just did not like it.

I am not sure why this hit me wrong I think it was because the juices were different almost like they were not e cig juices at all. The smell was so weird and then there was the no vapor the extreme thinness of the juice. It really feels like some kind of perfume additive or something. I tried it a few time after that and it just feels wrong.

I certainly am not going to contact the vendor asking for money back but rather hey whats up with this is this how it is supposed to be.

I am not sure if I am able to post the companys name and ask if anyone else has had the same experience I dont want to hurt a vendors feelings.

If you're like me, you can't afford to spend $40.00 on juices that are not vapeable. But you should first try the suggestions listed above. If nothing helps, maybe contact the vendor & see if they will exchange them for you (but some won't, so be advised). If you decide that the juices are just not to your taste (and not rancid, etc), you should try the PIF thread and trade them for something you might like.

I am hoping they might trade for something but funny I thought I ordered the safe juices not sure what I would trade it for.

And I love PIF feels like a family over there. Who knows someone may like them I ould pair them up with something good though I certainly wold not want to pass on bad stuff.

Maybe you got a bad batch ? Some vendors will make good on juices in that circumstance. Or possibly you may find that in a week or two they taste different, that's been known to happen.

I think it is important to have honest reviews out there. All of the "favorite vendors" I have found are a result of reviews. Honestly, it costed enough money finding the great vendors as it was. It is scary to think of all the money I would have spent if people were not writing honest reviews that include their positive and negative experiences of a juice and/or vendor.

One thing that I will say is that I tread a little lighter on the negative if I am on the vendor's own sponsored forum threads, but here in the open e-liquid review section I don't hold back on the negative.

Fortunately, I don't really experience too much negative anymore because of all the time I spend reading reviews before purchasing from a new vendor. I have so much juice already that I usually read about a vendor for a month before I ever even place an order with them. Even then, I usually start with really small orders. Thank god for honest reviews and ECF!!!

Well put and I agree. One has to place everything into perspective and make their own choice while living with it.

It can be fun and costly at the same time. We try to minimize the cost while actuating the fun. Fine line and hope this person arrives at a happy medium.

 That's vaping.

Good Question...

And...this is exactly how I feel

MY reviews...my honest opinion.
I understand...that everyone is different. I may love a particular E-Liquid, whereas you may NOT, it will vary from person to person.
I read A LOT of E-Liquid reviews...some have left me wondering...
Does this person work for that company???
I received an e-mail not too long ago, this person wanted me to post my reviews for a specific company...
I agreed, but I am IN NO WAY going to post reviews...to make a company look good...I am going to be HONEST!

I remember there was this one intriguing flavor I WAS so interested in, I wanted to buy it. The bottle itself was expensive, it was $19.99 for a 30 ml bottle.
I decided to PM this one member...in regards to that E-Liquid.
Believe it or not, when I asked her about the E-Liquid...she had no idea what I was talking about, she said that she never tried that E-Liquid before...
I replied and I mentioned her reivew... still she had no idea...
I copied and pasted the reivew...she replied and said..."OH, NOW I REMEMBER, it's my favorite flavor, it's the flavor that I am vaping on right NOW."

Please, I am not stupid...I know I was born at night and all, but NOT freakin' last night.

Always remember, different flavors suits different people.

Everytime I open a new bottle of E-Liquid...and if it's a new flavor that I haven't tried...
As I am vaping, I keep this in mind...what do I like about this flavor...
Does it offer a strong TH?
Is it smooth, more of a relaxing vape? An after dinner vape, or maybe...a morning vape?
Does the name of the E-Liquid...describe the taste?
Is there enough vapor production?

And...out of those 4 questions...there's only 2 that really concerns me...
To me, vapor production doesn't really matter, I am not too particular when it comes to vapor...but if it's there...that's a plus.
And....you might ask, well...if you don't care about the vapor...why bother?
And...this is why, although...I may not care...YOU ALL DO.
I know there are members who are more concerned with the vapor production than anything else.
Vape, post and have fun :vapor:

Happy Vaping :)

I am so sorry, I know how you feel...
Unfortunately, some sites don't offer refunds/exchanges. Now, I am not sure about DK liquid, if I were you...I would definately e-mail them, it doesn't hurt to ask. You can always explain the situation and let DK know that you weren't satisfied. Also, ask whether the E-Liquid could have gone bad.
If you are worried that you accidentally ordered Perfume, I am not sure...but most sites have an ACCOUNT page, go to the site and click on your account, you can review your previous orders.

Good Luck
