I'm really glad to hear that the vast majority of you found the taste of Cigarettes pretty gross, even after a short time of vaping. (This is what I suspected would be the case).
And I think I'd find the same results. But if I ever did try, I think I'd still wait a while longer.

If you look up "addictive personality" in any popular Dictionary or Encyclopedia, you'll most likely find a photo of me somewhere in there. :D

I craved analogs for a while, but I did not have a very good set-up. I purchased my 510 kit and the cravings went away. A few weeks later I found a few cigarettes in a pack in my saddlebag. I lit one up, and put it out after about 4 drags. It made me wonder why the h*** I ever started. I have not had any cravings since.

I recently got my brother onto vaping, got him the kit and etc .... after 2 days he said why am I smoking these they are disgusting...he has realised the clean throat hit you get compared to smoking and the taste he said was horrible. he slowly weaning himself of Cigarettes from 30 a day down to 10 or even less now which I am proud of him... just hope he sticks with it!

I made him a 30ml bottle of juice also which was like 20mg so that should give him a kick hehe :)

Yeah, I hear you mlinky. I'm pretty sure I'd find them disgusting even now, but with me you just never know.
I've even been staying away from my local American Legion, and have stopped having a cocktail completely for a while. If anything might get me to try a Cigarette again, it would be after having a Screwdriver or 10. :D

I beg to differ. I wish I had this "problem". Sure I notice that vaping tastes better but that's about it.

Haha....there's always the one or two that actually like the taste of smoking...but I dare say, the vast, vast majority can't stand it after they quit.

When I started vaping almost 4 mo ago I bought 2 packs of cigs and a green smoke starter kit. I even hid my ecig at home so no one would know what I was doing just in case it didn't work, lol. I was so afraid to fail!! But after 2 days I quit completely, with out much hesitation. But for that first month I wouldn't even go into a gas station, I didn't trust myself not to buy them. But the urge to smoke was gone, all that was left was in my head. Even now occasionally I will catch my brain thinking I need to smoke, but then I am like o yea I can vape instead!! I am lucky not to have any temptation around me, but I am also the only person vaping I know. I sure hate the smell of cigs when I am out an about!! But in no way do I want one!! Congrats!!

I have no flippin' idea! Haven't had any desire to find out. And it's not because I'm afraid to try... I just don't want to!

I hate to admit it, but even after vaping for over 10 months, I haven't tried a cigarette because I'm scared that it MIGHT taste good. After beating a 40 year PAD habit, it's not worth the risk to me.

I will tell you how to find out exactly what it tastes like without even having to light one up.

Step 1: Find a well-used ash tray.
Step 2: Lick it. Don't be coy and just stick the tip of your tongue on a bit of ash, get sloppy with it.

I assure you I'm not even kidding.

Congrats on three weeks! Like others have said, the smell alone will probably keep you away now. Just think about how those standing .... pots at the bar/break area used to smell when they'd been in heavy use and would start smoldering all the butts/filters/ash. That's how most analogs smell to me now, and it's only been 11 days. It took one night walking around the bar scene to realize I never want to go back to putting that into my lungs. Good luck and keep on vaping!

Depends on the person. I always liked the smell of cigarette smoke even as a kid, and that hasn't changed since I started vaping. I still like it. I just know it doesn't taste anything like it smells.

Congratulations on your success! You are doing GREAT!!!!!!! Keep on trucking through. What your wondering is natural and many of us go through it. For me.....21/2 months in I took a hit off a friends cigg after a great nite of partying. I rolled the smoke in my mouth for a second blew it out....It tasted....Ok but I had my Cuban cigar loaded in my eGo.....It tasted SO much better than the cig. That was all I needed. I haven't looked back.
