I finally found a hobby in building boxmods. Currently on my tenth box and life is grand, so are a bunch of my friends. My question is about dual 18650 sleds. I have been using the Keystone sleds because they work. I see all of the nice looking 3D sleds and ordered one to check out. It felt cheap and the contacts look to be for button head batteries. The seller told me they work fine for flat top batteries but I just dont see a good contact from those contacts with my flat head batteries. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most mods use flat top batteries, you would think the battery holders wold be designed to accommodate them. Which 3d printed sleds did you order? There are a lot of 3d printed options out there at the moment, but I haven't used any other than my own which I've ordered from Shapeways. That holder shown here in a mod https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/pwm-board-with-standoffs.703601/
