Hi all.

I know when combining 2 or more ejuice mixes together that the mg remains the same. ie. both bottles are 5mg, mixed @10 flavoring, @ 10ml.
So, combining the 2 together gives me 5mg in 20ml of mix but does the flavor % remain the same or does it increase? I am pretty sure it remains at 10% but just want to check to see others opinions.

Thanks

Hi SnS,
1) If the flavour is the same (strawberry): 10ml @10% STRWB plus 10ml @10% STRWB results in 20ml @10% STRWB.

If however the flavours are NOT the same:
2) 10ml @10% STRWB plus 10ml@ 10% Banana results in 20ml @5% STRWB and 5% Banana.

In each recipe approx 1ml of the total is flavour,
In example 1, the the end result is 2ml of flavour in 20ml (10% STRWB)
In example 2, the end result is 1ml of STRWB and 1ml banana in 20ml. (5% each)

When combining mixed e-juices it results in mutual dilution, that is only half the level of each flavoring and the same total flavoring. However it is not predictable how strong the actual flavor will be, I've seen juices that them touching each other kills the flavor. Most often the strength is still OK but down slightly. If you do find a combo it gets stronger, possibly unvapable, try diluting it, some of my best concoctions were hit on that way.

It depends on whether they are both equally flavored with the same flavor or two different flavors.

I agree with Mcclintock. If you combine two bottles with 5% flavor in the original bottles, now you have twice the amount of juice, but each flavor is half strength in the new bottle. If the PG/VG/Nic ratio was equal in each you'll still have the same PG/VG/Nic mix but the flavor strengths will be halved if they are different flavors, but the same if both bottles were identical flavors.
