Greetings vaping Comrades!

I've been hearing it both ways. :(

I suppose it depends on how juice vendors mix their supplies and the order by which they "mix" ingredients. But, if a juice has 2.4% nic vs. 1.8%, then that leaves less room for flavor additives. Yes? No? I have also read where flavor molecules bond better to nicotine so the higher the nic, the better flavor.

I truly don't know. I took Chemistry in college but only remember making a bar of really rank soap. (And I cheated).

it depends on the person. the more nic the stronger the hit on the throat, and it could affect the flavor.
if you vaped a 0 nic flavor, and the same one with 2.4 nic you would notice the change in hit strength for sure.
the change in flavor would depend on your taste buds and sense of smell.i'm not sure if would be a linear scale
as the lower nicotine juices would not affect the juice as much as the higher nic ones.
going from a .8 to a 1 might not be noticeable at all.where as going from .8 to 1.6 you should notice a difference.
remember if you go to a vape store that lets you sample the juices be sure to ask what the nic level is
as not get it at twice the % as you use.it might affect the taste enough you dont like it any more.
i dont believe it will degrade the flavor, might change the intensity of the flavor.

Ok Mike.

I'm just not sure if there's some kind of "muting" side effect with higher nic levels. It does seem like it to me. I got a free "0 nic" sampler from a vendor and liked it a lot. So I ordered a small bottle with 24mg nic. It just doesn't seem the same to me even after 3 weeks of steeping. Maybe it's all in my head or it just tasted better way back when I vaped the sample.

I've noticed this same thing and 2 folks from two different b&m's I frequent both said that the higher the nic, the more muted the flavor is.
