Well my paranormal 166 was definitely was saying ohms to high with a 7 wrap and 6 wrap cold it was like .65 and when vaping it dropped below that

So far these 2 6 wraps are at .64 cold and about. 34 after drawing a few times

I and friend do not understand steam engine or vape tool the leg legnth and space between wraps confuses both of us

I won't have time to wrap more or get escribe till the weekend

I got some 2.5 I'd 316l as 6 wraps as Well made right now I just want to use power mode for now

Those sound like really BEEFY coils if you are at .35ohm for 2 coils. 12 wraps total is a lot of SS wire. There is no 6volt cut off on any DNA that can hit 90watts. The 200 and 250 chips both hit 9volts. The 133 and 166 are just 2 battery versions of the 200 and 250s.

The only current 6v limited DNA chip is the DNA75. The DNA75c and DNA60 are both 9v limited.
With two batteries the DNA 200 and 250 will have a 6v cap.

Those specs came right from Boxer Mods and Ginger Vaper although i realize its wrong.

Boxer Mod V2 DNA133W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control - Boxer
Boxer Mod Classic DNA167W with Evolv DNA250 Temperature Control - Ginger Vaper
Output Voltage: 0.5 Volt – 7.4V

Ive seen the same "claim" for the Lost Vape 166 mods also but the manual you can download does not specify anything besides whats on Evolve's data sheet for the 250. I was surprised to find that the "detuned 166" 250 does not put out as many volts as a DNA60 or the newer DNA75C.

Have you tried building it lower ohms?...Say around .25?

Are you dry burning the SS coils first too. That seems to help mine. Pulse it in watt mode at around 20 watts a few times before wicking.

Your first problem is the coils...
When you heat SS wire it goes up in resistance and not down. That tells me the coils are not installed properly and the hot spots not removed from them. Your Ohms too high error was most likely from the bad install.

Here is a good start for the hot spots.

Yeah when it's dead cold in my room it's like20 it has been at .34 goes up to about .41 at 85+ I'm getting dry hits probably my wicking havent mastered the reload so I will tho in the 2.5 id tonight should make it a .242 and i will figure out how to get 316l for tc
Only time I see hot spots is when squeeze the coil hard never seem to get them to go away tho but it's only when pinched I know what hot spots taste like

Ive read its 7.4v when using 2 batteries?
It's 6.2v on the DNA 250 in two battery mode (don't remember if the DNA200 is 6 or 6.2v). The DNA 200 and 250 don't have voltage boosting so they can't provide more than the current battery voltage (including voltage sag).

I still don't understand why my ammit 25 has better flavor than my reload with same ohms same coils and watts

My Ammit (original 22mm) is a pain to get wicked correctly. Once i do though the flavor is pretty good. Easy to build on but the wicking has to be perfect. I use mostly 80VG liquid which makes it even more of a pain to get right.
