Do i need to send mine back in?

I believe I was one of the first with the new 510. Read that the first 200 hundred should be ok. Not really having a problem just my atty will get lose every once and a while.What's the difference in the v2 510. Now I know what every one says about a back up, its going to be had to let my reo go for a few days if I have to

The first run of 510's had 'normal' (clockwise) threading and Rob found that the second batch of them were loose fitting. As a result, they were screwing in as you tightened the atty down, thus negating the value of an adjustable connection.

The new new 510's are supposed to be reverse threaded (and probably tighter fitting), so screwing down an atty won't turn the connection pin once you've set it up as you like.

Whether you need to send it in or not is prolly up to you and your level of satisfaction. It would need to be sent in if you wanted the new reverse threading, though, as it's more involved than just screwing in a new pin.

Cool was not sure if he was going with a reverse thread or the tighter tolerance. Definitely will be sending in for a early spa treatment. Thanks

If a guy had a press he could do it himself . I would send it in when you can there is no time limit you can send it in next January there will be no charge
