Do I really need an ohm meter/reader?

i like to think I know what I'm doing!
Collected quite a few rta's over the past year or so. My multi Meter doesn't seem to work on my tanks, use it for batterys.
On a mech I like to Vape 7/8 ohms ( 2.5 I.d, 5/6 turns 26g kanthal).
I use a regulated mod( stout, istick) to test fire and fix coil).

So don't see the point in buying ohm reader, had two in past but didn't last.

So I have no need for an ohm reader?
Or am I missing something?

Yes, you do need an ohm reader(!), and yes you already own/use an ohm-reader(one of the functions of your regulated), and no you don't need to buy another ohm-reader if the one in your regulated works good and you're happy with it.

I have 2 ohm readers that I don't use, as they aren't as precise as the one in my old unused istick 100w, so I always use that when building. I can not pulse the coils, as too low, but can test for resistance fine. One of my ohm-readers is consistently 0.03ohms off... I could use it if just remembering that, but prefer the one on the regulated.
