i doubt it. unless you're burning your wick because it's too small to hold enough liquid. my daily double is a 3mm i.d. coil. if gives plenty of TH.

Not for me but I've only done 2mm or 2.5mm.

More to do with the liquid and watts your vaping at and your wicking.

coil placement and airflow are HUGE factors IMO.
