Dripping is something best done at home. Out and about a tank or a clearo is much easier.
When I'm dripping I usually add between 2 and 5 drops depending on the wick (how long and what material it is). This usually gives me 8 to 15 draws depending on the length and strength of the draw.
I drip because the nicotine hit seems to be much stronger so I can vape a lower nicotine strength. The liquid also lasts longer as there is less waste.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Dripping requires a little more effort than filling up a tank and going. The only time it can really get to be an issue is when you're driving. I wouldn't recommend trying to drip while driving. Wait until a stoplight or something. As for vape time on a drip, it depends on how much liquid you drip into your atomizer. Some can hold a fair bit. Others just take 5 or 6 drops at a time. You can use a rebuildable dripping atomizer or a plan atomizer, which is similar to a cartomizer without any filler material. Now, that said, any bottom-fed device will negate most of that, but I personally, don't like the form factor of them. Here's a guide written by The Ocelot: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/the-ocelot/4005-drip-drip-drip-sound-dripping.html

I keep hearing a lot about "dripping". Is this easy to do? Is it annoying when you are out in public? How long does a dripping last?

I really enjoy dripping. I like the flavor and the heat that I get, mostly. A word of advice, DON'T DRIP AND DRIVE. For right now, I am using a small 510 atomizer. It only holds about 2-3 drops, and lasts me 3-5 good puffs. You can usually pick one up online for around $5. It is pretty simple, you drip 2-3 drops, straight down into the atomizer and puff away until you a dry hit (usually 3-5 puffs), then drip some more. If you get a combo tank that has a large "tank" below the atty, you can squeeze a little bit of juice up to the wick, and "toot" away.

Back in the day I used to drip in atomizers that would only hold a few drops a time. I do not find it worth it these days unless you are testing flavors. They do have RDA's which are Rebuildable dripping atomizers and they can hold quite a bit more and you decide how strong of a vape you want. It is def not for beginners but not something that I would consider that difficult to learn how to do...

I was just gonna say, I drip all of the time with my Reo. However, you don't need to run out and buy a new mod.

You have to buy an atomizer. Most big ecig vendors carry 510 atomizers. You hook up the atomizer to your battery and put around 3 drops into it. Then you puff on it until it starts losing flavor and start again. You will need a drip tip for your atomizer.

Rebuild able dripping atomizers will hold more juice than a stock 510 atomizer. They would probably be more convenient than a 510 stock atomizer, but it never appealed to me before I got my Reo.

Revelene, the test of a true dripper is dripping when the lights are out.

I have a Reo for when I'm driving so that I don't have to divert my eyes from the road. I don't use a phone when I'm driving either.

I have a drip tip from Ninja Mods and it has a ridiculously large opening. I don't have to look at it and just stick the bottle upside down inside the hole and give the bottle a few squeezes. :2cool:

Smokie is deliberately slow in this vid.. It's actually a quick, no-look, precise solution...
