Do not order White Cloud

I heard great reviews on you tube about this product. Wrong way over priced I bought 2 for My husband and myself. over 400 dollars later we have been seriously ripped off. The taste of the tobacco is awful. and did not vape for no longer than about 4 cigarettes. Ordered e-fluid from china to refill but will not vape. we think the cartimizers are fried. We filled them and let them sit over nite. White Cloud will only replace the cartridges that are defective. I have to pay shipping. Wrong answer. I heard that the kr808d will fit their battery. we are new to vaping and are highly discouraged. We see other users of e-cigs get good vapor. We would appreciate any info from anyone .

I am not someone that can help you. I am not familiar with the equipment you mention in your post. Someone will be along shortly that has experience with your equipment and will be able to answer your questions.

I am sorry to read you had such a rough start with your e-cig.

Once again, Welcome to the forum. Hang tight. Someone will be here soon with info for you.

Many Many new e-cig users start out this way. The good news is that a similar system can be had for a lot less money. I'd start here to see what you really want and also some info that will be pertinent (like the fact that if you want a cig sized one you will have to be prepared to recharge those little batteries all day long):

Cartomizers don't really last as long as a pack of cigs, especially prefilled ones which may be light on juice to prevent leaks, especially if the unit has auto batteries and the vendor doesn't want to kill them with juice leaks. Ripoff rebranders like to say a carto lasts as long as a pack of cigs or even 1.5 packs. It's just a lie.

However, if you keep a carto damp by adding juice when it needs it, and not let it run dry (which could singe the stuffing or strain the atty inside), then a carto can work well for days or longer.

IMO

If you want to keep using prefilled cartomizers including any you have left over - get manual KR808D-1 batteries, in the standard length. I recommend manual ones even if you think a button would bother you. Manual batteries are not dependent on a threaded end drag sensor so harder to kill with a juice leak. Manuals won't turn on by accident from wind or vibration. And I think they are less work. The button makes it make vapor and you can drag softly or however you want.

You can get plain white and steel KR808D-1 at LiteCigUSA.net or VaporLeaf.com, and colors plus prefilled cartos at Vapor4Life.com. Bloogplanet also has prefilled cartos. To be safe you could just order one battery first and see if it works with your charger and cartos.

If you want longer battery life for the same kind of cartos - there is KR808D-1 XL for 380mah which may give 4-6 hours (but they will not fit in the PCC) or the fat battery models Le Cig's PigCig or Cigeasy's Elegant Easy (both should give 6-8+ hours, and need their own PCCs if they offer those)

If you want to switch to something totally new and use atty+carts (need filling more often) or use just blank cartomizers, look at Joye 510 (standard battery charge life would be like a short KR8 or maybe your cirrus II, mega xl 510 batteries have charge length like a standard KR8), and Ego or Riva 510 for fat battery models.

I just checked out White Cloud site...

Looking at the Cirrus II kit, thinking, well $49.96 is a little high for a 2-cig mini kit... then I noticed the "2" next to that 4...

HOLY MARY!!! $249.96 for a starter kit with 2 batts, 2 attys, 5 carts and a charger? It'd better mow my lawn or be able to run the latest "Call of Duty" games for that price!

Twenty bucks for 5 cartos... but hey, they say that 5 cartos = a carton (CARTON, mind you) of cigarettes!

LOL! Don't feel too bad... lots of us here, myself included, got horribly ripped off on our first PV. At least you didn't get stuck with that "automatic delivery of replacement cartridges" B.S. that forced me to cancel a Visa card. [cancel at any time my ...] I have to say, though, that this is probably the worst one I've seen so far.

OMG, so so so sorry that this happened to you! You paid far too much for a starter kit (of any calibre, imho). I agree with the other posters, have a look around (get your post count up to 5 so that you can look in the forums on the site) and ask a ton of questions before you try another kit. It really is too bad that this vendor has left such a bad taste in your mouth and I seriously hope that you don't discount ecigs all together because of this experience. There are plenty of reputable vendors out there who go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are satisfied and who don't try to rip the consumer off in the process!

You'll soon discover (if you haven't already) that there are only a handful of manufacturers in China where the ecig comes from. Many vendors use the same manufactured product that is simply rebranded with their company logo -- so, in a competitive market, the reputable vendors will usually price their (rebranded) product competitively. I hate to say it, but WhiteCloud seems to be selling their own version of the same product that is available elsewhere at a 400% markup ~ WOW!

Yep, I think we almost all got snookered buying our first e cig...and I 'thought' I'd done my reviews. I got suckered by the Blu...frustrated with the battery time (20 mins) so I thought I'd be 'smart' and ordered more batts...then I found ECF and got a 'real' e cig! Currently using the eGo-T system. Other than loss of flavor (buying my own flavorings so I can make the juice stronger) it's a win! Hope you find your answer and don't give up. This forum is the right place to learn and grow, and you'll find that everyone here is helpful and willing to educate the newcomers. Good luck! :D

I had to return 3 kits to 3 different companies when I first started vaping. I was ready to give up and if I had not found tjis forum I probably would have. But I am here to tell you that it does work with the right juice and equipment so please don't give up! Learn as much as you are able to here and there are plenty of members that will be glad to help you along the way.

Hi guys (first post and all). Im just going to add to this post and mirror everything the OP said. I spent over $300 on the brand new Cirrus III (just released) - and I spent a good amount of time looking at youtube vids etc. Unfortuntaley I got sucked in massively by the old adage (which usually is right), that the more expensive the better. Well, they're crap - the pre-filled carts only last about a day (of moderate use) and are $20 for 5 and in fact Ive spent the whole day today trying to get 2 brand new carts to work - swapping batts etc, and feel like crap from the sh!tty taste. Ive now ordered an ego-t which should be here in a few days - unfortunately I'll have to wait another week or so for my juice to get here from the states (Aussie). Its a shame but one positive is that I havent smoked an analog for the longest time (5 days) in 10 years to I guess that is something to be optimistic about.

Sorry to hear you were taken Acb. That most expensive is the best adage has not been true in a long time, to get a good deal on anything any more you have to do research. I am sure that all of those ripoff sites have all of their great videos with buxom blond women and men in polo shirts with perfect hair praising their expensive products and paying those actors costs a lot so they have to be expensive products. Look for Reviews of cheaper products made by the person who may live next door. So what if they have a squinty eye or a tattoo on their neck that is misspelled. These are the people like you who are trying to give you advice on the best products and best deals they have found in the real world.

Chr1st on a bike! Those White Cloud prices are ridiculous!!

I'm sorry to hear about your bad start and although hindsight is easy, it does rather prove the point of research, read, research before you pull the trigger.

I hope things work out considerably better for future vaping! The Joye Ego is well priced at less than US$60.00 for a starter kit of 2 batteries, 2 atomizers etc etc.

Hello I too echo the sentiment of the other posters. It is the rip-off vendors that turn people away from ecigs......if you could tell us what your needs are in terms of looks and what you want an ecig to do, we could make recommendations from ecf registered vendors. At the top of this page is a link for forum suppliers. ecf has rules and do some monitoring on these companies. Look around at some of their shops and ask us questions...We are here to help, if we can.
good luck
:)
