Do posts get dropped somehow?

Recently I have posted a couple times and the post didn't show up. Do they get dropped sometimes? Maybe I posted to the wrong area and for that reason it didn't show up? Posts I've done in here have been ok, just a couple of the times I've posted outside of here.

Go to your own profile and you should be able to find any threads you started. There should also be a bit of history of what you looked at last.

And if you posted them in this section, this section moves FAST and things get bumped to later pages. Only the newest or most recently commented on threads are on the front page of New members.

I checked there and they weren't listed there.

Click on the "What's New" tab at the top of the forum page and select "My Posts." See if you can find them there.

Hmm, this post doesn't even show up there or in My Profile. Weird, guess I'll keep trying.

When the board is super busy or a little wonky, sometimes posts don't go through. I've had that happen here and at other boards. I think especially in this section because it seems to be super busy. Did you hit the reply button and actually see your post?

I posted in the Ask a Vetran section and when I pressed the reply button a message flashed saying that my post would not show up until a moderator has read it. So maybe some don't make it. Don't know what's going on here, but getting tired of typing for nothing. Thanks.

I clicked on your first link there and got the message "You do not have permission to access this page...."

Those two are older from a few days ago. Maybe I'll just stick to posting in the New Members section for a while longer.
