Reminds me of pop rocks. Do they still make those??

BTW, do CE2s make the snap crackle pop? I've got some coming and I was kinda figuring they didn't which will be disappointing. At first the SCP kinda scared me but now I find it very comforting.

Sadly no!! Not using a ce2 today. Will be kept for E-mergencies

For sale/trade 9 ce2's in wrappers. :D

A CE2 will actually Crackle if it is used in a MAP tank, they are a little more work than a standard CE2 as you have to prepare the CE2 to go into the tank. But they will CRACKLE like crazy once you get that MAP Tank full :D Other than that no they do not crackle much at all.

The easiest way to use a CE2 version of a MAP tank is rather than just using a Pipe cutter to cut the XL CE2 casing off and then force the CE2 through the delrin cap,(which can be very difficult at times), I found that buying an Ego battery connection extender and putting it into the delrin cap and then just using the standard CE2 in the MAP Tank is much less hassle because all you have to do is unscrew the CE2 from the adapter inside the tank and put the new CE2 on when they need to be changed. You do have to pull the little rubber O Ring around the base of the CE2 and move it down to the battery connector of the CE2 so you get a good seal between the Ego Adapter and the threads on the CE2 this prevents leaking between the battery connectors as they are immersed in the e-liquid inside the tank.

Hope this helps :D

Hmmm. My ce2's are plastic!! Guess I could mod my stainless dcc's!!

Well the DCC Tank is a different animal all together, I now use the MAP DCT myself. You have to make either a puncture or a cut into the metal casing itself, (Very Easy with a Dremel). I make my cut or hole exactly 1/2 inch above the base of the casing. Then you just insert the whole tamale into the tank through the internal O-Rings that create the seal to prevent leaks in the end caps. Fill and go. It is much easier in my opinion than the CE2 MAP Tank and it produces Great flavor and vapor.

But my CE2's were also the plastic tiny ones, I used them in line with the ego adapter. I just carefully removed the plastic tube, adjusted the placement of the rubber o ring and then screwed the little bugger onto the Ego extender I had already placed into the bottom End Cap.

Here is another option, I believe he also makes them that fit the smaller sized cartos. I am not certain if MAP makes the smaller sized ones or not. I will ask while I am up at the shop today. I believe he does, but I am not sure. Here is the link to the Torpedo Tanks from VaporAge. A super closeup is in post #737

OOOH SHOP? wow, how nice! my DCC's are mega, wondering about a small tank. will check out your link now before I show any more of my true newb!!

LOL Heck I still ask newb questions myself, there is so much nice stuff out here for us that it is virtually impossible to know everything about them :D

Yeah these tanks do operate awesome for sure. :D And they look very nice as well. I have had both the Black Delrin and the Stainless Steel ones. I like the stainless ones better myself, seems more durable to me :D

And yes, it is 67 miles from my house, but it is so Incredible that I go up there no less than twice a month :D
