Do you add your pg & vg first or your flavors first?

I have been adding my flavors first and then the PG and VG and nicotine I am wondering if I should do it the other way?

Flavoring, nic, pg, vg. Smallest amounts to largest and a little mixing at each step then a couple days to sit and few shakes each day and a few shakes each time I pour from the bottle.

I use measuring by volume, so - First I draw out and squirt the flavorings in the bottle. Then I fill to a certain mark on my bottle with plain PG. Then I draw out and squirt the nic base in the bottle. Then fill to another mark with my plain VG, and I'm done.

I don't think it really matters which you add first, though I personally have never added the nic base last. Guess I don't like it all concentrated at the top of the bottle. Would rather put it in earlier so other liquids can sort of mix with it then as they're squirted or poured into the bottle.

I always add the nicotine first and then either put it back in the fridge, or place it on a different counter (if I'm making multiple bottles) before adding anything else.

My reasoning? I once got distracted, (happens easily and often at my age ) went back to mixing and when I'd finished, noticed that the mixed bottle had more in it than it should have. Took me a few minutes to realize that I'd gone back to mixing into the 100mg/ml bottle of nicotine. It was promptly dumped down the drain and I started over. And yes, all of my nicotine bottles are labeled. But, since they are the same size as my mixing bottles, I just didn't notice.

It happens to us all! My pet peeve is when I go to drop the flavoring in and the cap pops off dumping WAY too much juice...down the drain they go!

It sounds like I'm odd-man-out. I mix flavors first (mine happen to be all PG based), then add PG and give it a good swirl or shake (my thinking is they both use/are the same carrier and should blend readily... why not give them a head start?), then the VGs (VG nic, then VG, OR VG, then VG nic... it's a toss up from mix to mix), then shake/stir the heck out of it. It has always worked for me but I don't no that it offers one iota improvement over any other order. :D
