I don't know much about carbon footprints. Nor do I know much about child abuse that is perpetrated by the media, with the consent of the child's parents, for monetary gain, political gain and fame...all without being punished for it. SO I will refrain from commenting on that aspect.
Anyhow...
That said, I am a firm believer in what farmers & agricultural scientists believe and know...solar minimum stages.
The climate change we see these days is being brought on by a solar phase we are going through, which is called many things, but more popularly called the "Grand Solar Minimum" stage.
In terms of GSM and it's affect on the global food supply chain, last year was the straw that broke the camel's back and this year is not projected to be any better, possibly worse. This solar minimum stage we are in is not projected to end any time soon and some believe we haven't even reached the peak of it yet (but that's debatable), which means we are going to experience a global food crisis soon (yes, that's right, one crisis after another here on good ole planet earth). If true, then expect crisis compounded upon crisis and then wait for the real fun to begin.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about GSM. The earth has been experiencing solar minimums forever, as far as we can tell. You can blame the sun, I guess. Although it will do you no good to blame anything or anyone as it is what it is and it will continue regardless of your outrage or lack thereof. The sun and nature as a whole really don't give a rat's

.
As far as vaping being a hazard to the environment, I do believe it is due to the waste it produces via spent drop-in coils, and now exacerbated by the pod craze. But I don't worry much about it. It is quite possible cigarette .... waste is far worse anyway.
If you are talking about something else, I apologize. I found it difficult to figure out exactly what you were trying to get at, so I shot right for the question at the end of your post.
