Do you dislike metal drip tips?

I like the looks of brushed stainless steel metal drip tips on my kayfun, but I don't like the taste of the metal in my mouth.

Finally got fed-up with it and replaced it with a black plastic drip tip.

For me, the primary thing is the shape of the drip tip. So although metal tips are not my first choice, if the shape feels good, I prefer it to one that is made out of glass, ceramic, plastic, stone, aluminum etc that has an unpleasing shape.

I just got the new Pyrex mega drip tips from madvapes and I'm really liking them.. They don't show the lip gunk (as previously stated) but they do show the condensation which can also gross people out.. i

I like the metal ones, stone and a wood one was decent as well don't like plastic to much

metal are my fav...though im always afraid of cracking a tooth if i hit a pot hole or my dog jumps on me.

petrified mastodon spoor
plaster of Paris/paper mache
metal

I've yet to enjoy a metallic DT!

Now dat winter's almost over up 'yonder', metal might suit/release your lips...

I hate metal drip tips too, but all the cheap plastic/acrylic ones I've used don't provide a good seal on my nautilus, so I don't get as much vapor production. Suggestions?

Ive heard wrapping with dental floss helps little air leaks like that.

I hate the taste and feel of metal, too. Glass is my favorite at the moment - though I am using a glass one with metal top edge on the Valkyrie that I'm liking a lot.

You mean wrapping where the oring groove is, then putting the oring back on over the thread, right?

I have been looking for the mummified chicken toe drip tip.... cant find them anywhere.

most common would be chrome plated.

there would also be stainless steel;

I can't keep using chrome plated; burns lips after a while.

I don't have any stainless steel ones, but I suspect they won't have the same problem;

then you also get hotness on some tanks; a long tip would help if thats the case; had difficulty using my genesis type because of the heat making the tip too hot.

I've been chain vaping on my RDA and my metal drip tip is HOT. Regardless, I like the uniform look of an all metal mod. I've been looking into delrin and glass drip tips like the one bhswmc01 posted. But all the drip tips that I do like are made to order and cost like $30, too much IMO.

When I vape my RDA, I don't close my lips around my drip tip. I kinda just rest it on my lips and inhale through the atty and the sides of my mouth. If anyone has played trumpet, it's kiiinda like that. So no matter how hot my drip tip gets, I don't really feel the heat
