Like you said its your own business but I hope you werent vaping while pumping gas for your own sake. Theres a chance especially with a vented pv, albeit slight, that it could spark and ignite gas fumes.

I might even give you a funny look in that circumstance

Certainly not. I was walking out the store while he was pumping gas and took a few puffs while walking out. I got in the car and my friend thought I was vaping inside(not that that would shock him) and our conversation started there. The guy was standing behind me in the store and walked out with me. His girlfriend(I am assuming) was pumping gas while he went in. So we both happened to meet again at our cars at the pumps. Then he overheard our conversation.

I just didn't feel like elaborating that much. Hehe

When I'm in public I may just let my hand cover up my eGo a little more and just might hold the smoke longer to reduce the big cloud. If I'm at the restaurant, sometimes I'll ask, sometimes I won't depending on where I'm sitting.

Every now and then I'll let a big one out depending on where I'm at... deep down inside I would like the attention lol..

If I ever get confronted by the po po worse case scenario I'm hoping they'll have the wherewithal just to google "eGo-CTwist" which is written on my device to verify what I'm telling them.

I'm retired and I vape in public. Haven't vaped at the grocery store because I haven't had the urge, usually I just want to go in and out after I get what I need.

After 10 months of vaping, my grown kids and I were coming home at night from spending Christmas Eve with my cousin and we stopped at a light with the driver of another car that was next to us was vaping one of the cig-a-likes. I rolled down my window and shouted YESSS!

I get alot of WHAT IS THAT?? About a month back I was entering the local court house, I put all my stuff in the pass though basket including my ego which was in the pocket of my motorcycle vest. The officer stopped me as I was getting my things and asked if I had a weapon like a baton in my vest. I said no, it is an electronic cigarette. He then told me "make it work" so I had to give him a demo. Finally he says in hi Officer Better Than You voice, "I quit smoking cold turkey, that is just another bad habit" I wanted to sock him

I used to smoke because it was a social thing to me, but in a way, I hate being forced out with the people who have that very habit I am trying to get away from. I do not like the smell of smoke anymore and am very sensitive to it. I really hate to sound like a snob, but it is what it is! I will stealth vape in a toilet stall before I get smoke blown in my face outside. Yes, smokers do that to see if we beg them for a smoke! Ha ha. Funny.

And I'll blow clouds in there's. we win!

I've had mixed reactions. Ive got Washington State on my west side which bans all indoor smoking and what not, been to a fair there in Spokane and told that they dont care if its electronic or not, to get with the other smokers. Personally I take great offense to this for the simple reason it puts me back in contact with the carcinogens and second hand smoke, its like telling a healthy person, "Hey go stand next to the smoker and get some second hand smoke in your lungs."
I live In North Idaho so I dont have too much of a problem, but my college doesnt implemented a ban on regular cigs and electronic cigs. More Gustapo power struggles.
Personally I think its would be a good idea to allow e cigs - it would help the regular cig smokers to take a hint and change, or hell if a college could pull it off, sell e cigs themselves and rake in the profits.
Here in Idaho we have a great program called Idaho quit Now, which gives free smoking cessation products to people for free. We all know its hard to quit but hell throw an e-cig at someone and watch them cold turkey it pretty quick and feel a lot better getting away from carcinogens. Only problem they would have is deciding on flavors.

I've never had a single issue. Vaped in public on the street, in bars and restaurants, in the mall, even in a hospital lobby.

And I live in the People's Republic of Maryland--where pretty much EVERY form of self-determination and expression is illegal or heavily-regulated... :glare:

Same like me... Kind of weird the way they look at me. I feel like an alien...

I just bought an ego spinner. I would feel weird to vape with that in public, like I'm smoking a pot pipe, which is why I started with the volt e-cigs and am working my way up now. The volt will be what I use when I'm out in public and I won't care or feel weird about it. Actually, I'm looking forward to when some poor slob asks me if I have a cigarette and I get to tell them I don't smoke anymore. (all the while vaping in front of them, haha).

That's a little harsh. Poor slob? We all used to be smokers.
