Do you find you get less colds?

No colds or flu in a little over 2 years of vaping ...

When I did get the early warnings of a cold, the slightly scratchy throat and mild congestion, it passed by the next morning. Before that, when smoking, that would lead to a week or two of utter misery ...

That was in the first year of vaping ...

Since then, I retired and no longer spend my days in a "sick" building, half filled with contagious jerks who won't use vacation days, and who cough and sneeze openly with total disregard for others, into the stale recirculated air ...

It seems to be common now for office buildings to have fixed windows, and all but one front door locked, sometimes chained, for "security". These buildings were designed to "breathe", with all doors opened and closed randomly throughout the day, allowing the intake of fresh air ...

Haven't even had a tickle in the throat for the past year, since I escaped the Petri dish of a sealed office structure ...

One cold in two years. Instead of my, while smoking, two URI's per year.
And the cold did not leave the lingering cough that my URI's always did.
Nyquil for a few days instead of Dr visit and Z-pack(s). I'll take it!

I used to get really bad bronchitus twice year. Since I stopped smoking I've barely even had a cold.

I unfortunately work with a couple of guys that pride themselves on never taking sick days - so they'll drag themselves to work with the bubonic plague and infect everyone around them.

It's usually inevitable that I will catch something at least once a year.

However, I did notice that the duration and impact wasn't as bad as when I was a smoker.

No colds since starting vaping over a year ago. I usually got them twice a year. I did get the flu last year (went to Dr to confirm) but I was able to work all but 1 of 7 or so days (solitary, on my own, followed myself with lysol).

Hm I'm going to have to keep track of this during the fall and winter this year. I started back to vaping two months ago and I have a toddler in daycare. Last year I seriously thought he was going to kill me. I got the flu, strep throat, and then a combo of both the flu and strep throat at the same time, plus more than one cold. So, now that he just started back at daycare again...I'm going to see if I get knocked down so much this year. Lol.

I have had two colds in the past 2 yrs and they have both been bad ones, the kind that seems to last forever. But that was before I started Diy'ing, maybe that will make a difference.

I never really got sick before vaping. Maybe once every couple of years! However I do know my lungs are healthier in general. I can do more without getting as winded as soon as I did when I smoked.
