In short: You feel a real cig more because there are 4,000+ chemicals in it, that your not "getting" (or getting killed by) that are not in the nic juice your vaping. + the carbon monoxide in the analogs are whats giving you a bit of that "head rush"

Trust me, I feel you man... like everyone said to me, try giving up seeing so much vape come out when you exhale, and hold it in longer...

I don't get a buzz from the first-day vape like I did with a first-day analog, but then, I vape differently than I smoked. I take a few drags off the pv while doing other things, instead of going outside and sitting in the same spot for 5 min doing nothing but smoking. However, I find cravings are completely satisfied. I never thought about missing the buzz until you mentioned it.

thanks for all the replies. appreciate it.

DcMagic, do you vape with 5v or higher? I read somewhere that one of the members blows out an atty every few days, vaping at 6v. Do you have any experiences/advice to share?

and if what you say is true, that you get more nic from higher volts, is this because 6v vaporizes the nic more at HV (and more gets into your lungs per breath) campared to 3.7v?

I believe I'm that member your speaking of. lol And yes, I'll go through an atty every few days at 6v. Long story short... this is a problem that me and I'm sure a few other members face, other people seem to be fine and get their attys to last weeks and even months on 6v. Maybe I'm just unlucky. You just need to try it. For the 6v experience on the other hand.... is unF'ing believable. It gives your body a LOT more nicotine. Personally it should have its own saying "Once you go 6v, you can NEVER go back" because its always on my mind since I switched back to 3.7v. I love my chuck at 6v like a crackhead loves his pipe, the addiction is bad. lmao :D

It's not the same full-body rush, but I do get a head rush first thing in the morning. It's stimulating rather than the stimulating/relaxing mix you get from analogs.

Interesting enough, I didn't feel any rush from vaping until I'd been off all analogs for over a week. Eliminate the competition and see how you feel?

Do you know why you get that headrush from an analog after not having a cig for some time? It is called lack of oxygen. When you constrict the flow of blood(headrush when you have knelt for a long time and stand up) or oxygen to the blood via the lungs your brain tells you this by making you feel dizzy - like you are buzzed or high.

See there are these fine little things in your lungs called alveoli(airways) and they become irritated by things that do not belong there. Smoke is made up of very fine particles of burnt stuff that do a great job of this irritating thing. That is why first time smokers tend to cough and get all light headed is because those alveoli have become irritated and literally constrict trying to keep the bad stuff out...this means you are not getting the amount of oxygen to your blood that you should have gotten. This in turn means the blood going to the brain is going to be oxygen deprived...and voila...light headed feeling occurs.

This will go away if a person continues to smoke because the body starts to compensate and the lungs get use to it...sorta like a person that uses a hammer all the time builds up callouses..so your lungs build up something similar.

That is why you get the headrush sometimes from the first cig in the morning. You shocked your lungs...they constricted and you got less oxygen to your brain.

The fine water vapor, which is much finer than the smoke from a cigarette in most cases is less irritating to your lungs. So they have no reason to constrict and thus no light headed feeling.
