If you buy good quality recommended batteries from reputable sources you'll have no problems.
Most if not all have been tested by independent sources, like our own Mooch.
May want to do some reading in the batteries & chargers subforum.
' Checking ' the CDR of a cell would at least reduce its useful life.

Is there any way that you can check the cdr of your battery externally? Or do you have to rely on the reputable company?

You would need the right equipment and the knowledge of how to do it. There are no CDR meters out there.

I always buy from reputable companies and it has always worked out well for me.

on this site?

@Mooch
Period.

Can't rely on a reputable COMPANY to give you ANY information regarding ANY electronics. they have skin in the game whether it's apparent or not.

rely on a reputable battery retailer to sell you the battery you're paying for. that's all a reputable company is good for in this instance.
