Somewhere out there
I use around 80 PG/ 20 VG. Something about pure VG makes my chest hurt and makes me feel sick. I like a thinner vapor too, hate those heavy clouds of thick vapor hanging around! LOL So seems everyone has their fav mix for different reasons. If I get a thick juice like Ms T's I always add PG to it so it is easier to vape in the cartos. bnrk

I really like 30/70 pg/vg. or 80/20To much pg and I get a headache. I may be the group that is sensitive to pg. I wish vg wasn't so thick though because my carts clog quicker and I can't use my cartomizers as long as most people with mostly pg do. I also wish pg didn't bother me because I heard the more pg the better the flavor... Is that true?

You are not the only one who has issues with VG, I have tried even 80 pg 20 vg mix, and I get a sore throat & tongue, canker sores, etc. etc. I only use straight PG now and I do not have any problems.

More than 50% PG and I can't vape it more than 1 fill without ending up with an itchy irritated throat and mouth. I suspect I have a sensitivity to it.

I tend to prefer 100% VG juice, but it really plays havoc on my hardware. My sweet spot tends to be a mix of 70% or 80% VG to 20-30% PG. Especially if it's some sort of fruity flavor - the PG kicks up the sweetness just a touch.

I have found my perfect VG / PG ratio's come from company's that don't discuss it at all on the website. I like when vendors take a "we got this" approach to juice. If I wanted to make my own juice with trial and error I would. But if I order a juice, I want it to be as they made it, and intended. Boba's from AVE only comes in VG, Juicecast has their own mix, Pinkspot, and Ivape. All have there own proprietary mix(some secret some not), and they all make good vapor and to me taste profiles are completely different. Juicy Vapor Reduced PG Ecto Plasma is the best smelling juice on the planet! And it vapes well. It has throat hit where you wouldn't expect it. Like they can just add it with a drop of more throat hit. I stay at 12mg.

I started with PG and at first was fine with it, ie vapor production .. then I noticed that I felt high and light headed when vaping it. Started DIY 80/20 PG and this was much better for me, no headache or high feeling. Then I continued to up the VG to 40% because not only does it produce these lovely thick clouds of vapor, but the vape itself feels more smooth and billowy .. very pleasant.

Recently I tried 95% VG/5% distilled water and I love how smooth and full the vape is. I also think that using mostly VG cuts down on potential chemical or perfume tastes in DIY flavoring. I mixed a flavor that did not taste bad, but had this perfumey finish to it ... added .5ml of VG to the mix and it knocked that perfumed note right out.

I myself would go 95-100% VG if it wasn't for the fact that its hard to fill a carto with high VG juice, and I use cartos most of the time. 60/40 PG/VG is plenty good though.
