Do I need a new charger for spinner on any X2 charger will do?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

The spinner uses a specific charger so yes you need a new one. The X2 uses a USB charger. The spinner screws into it's charger but it charges so much faster than the X2.

I have to chime in here I like the spinners so much. Yup, my other batteries have taken a back seat. I mean it's just logical. I use my batts with every device that SI sells so I need to dial a little bit different voltage for each device. Plus one has to consider the juice. I also adjust for all the different juices. It only takes a split second and I don't really even look at the setting anymore. I just take a hit and turn it up or down a little. If I'm starting with a new juice it goes right to 3.8. My operating range seems to be between 3.8 and 4.3, rarely taking it above that, only once in a while.

It holds a charge for a long time and charges up quickly. I got 2 1300's for revolving at home and a 650 for travel. BTW, the 650 with a Nano and a long cone is a great setup.

What is it you like about the spinners? The spin function? Longer battery life?
Do they actually vape better? In what way?

What is your favorite juice delivery device on them? Why?
Have you used a CE3 on them? How did you like it?

What's the biggest difference between the Spinners and the Volt battery?

How about making your own thread and asking all of that there, since my question has long been answered.

Wow. I was trying to help discussion along by asking questions to consider. It being a discussion forum, and all.
Way to sound like a jerk, man.
Be cool, you have a lot of good questions and a separate thread would let more people see it that would be interested in answering, because it would have had a different subject title.

But anyway, what I like about the spinner is that you can adjust it for everything from a carto to a tank type system because you can adjust the voltage going to the coil (which are different for each type) and adjust it for your juice. Some juices are thinker, some thinner, and some taste a little better when adjusting the voltage up or down. The amount of vapor is also affected by the voltage you choose. What all this means is that instead of having a fixed voltage system, which with SI's equipment seems to work just fine, you can make little adjustments that would make it better for you. One could say that for these reasons it does vape better.

Longer battery life? Not it you keep turning up the voltage. The higher you have it set the quicker you would use up your charge.
I like all the SI systems on it. Mostly the T3's.

Hope this helps.:)

I have had my spinner (1300 mah) in chrome for about 2wks! Love at first vape lol! I also have a black x2 (650 mah) which I use for travel! I use the CE3'S but the nanos I'm not having much luck (gurgling) I guess I'm doin something wrong! Not having any issues with chips or peeling but I too am .... retentive with keeping them safe I use a PlayStation portable case to store them! Could possibly be a defect?? The customer service at SI is AMAZING!!! Vape on guys : )

I don't have an X2 battery to compare, but I definitely am digging the longer battery life compared to the 68 and 78 mm cig-a-likes I have. I bought the 1300 mAh one and I think I've vaped casually for like five days already without a recharge. Since both of my smaller batteries are autos, I've found that being that the spinner is a manual it gives (to me at least) a better vape because I don't feel like I'm sucking through a tiny straw on my hits.

I've been playing around with the voltage on the spinner and I like the fact that I have that kind of control. I usually stay between 3.3 and 3.8 volts though.

I've tried both CE3s and cartos on the spinner, and I personally like CE3s better. I know that they give a cooler vape but I'm definitely more a fan of those, although if you read my other threads I have had problems with CE3s either clogging or having some sort of reaction with different juices (for example I purchased gummy bear flavor from tasty vapor and it fogged up the entire clearo...scary to think I'm inhaling plastic vapors or whatever).

Since I don't have an X2 battery I can't compare the two, but I'm assuming the only differences are that the X2s can act as a passthrough and the spinner has the option to control voltage. I highly doubt I'll buy an X2 however...I'm quite fond of my spinner :)

Now that I've used it for a while I find that the Spinner is able to give a much stronger vape than the X2. I use the Nanos a lot with it with no problems, although my favorite vape is with the X2 clearos. Haven't had any luck with the T3s. Much too airy, even after having blocked two of the holes with toothpicks. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the T3s, I don't know, but so far I'm not a fan of them. That's another story for another thread, however. The Spinners are great, the best of the bunch as far as I'm concerned.

I'm just not as thrilled with the spinner I got a couple weeks ago as I was at first. Its a blue 1300. It works good, has great battery life and recharges fast. But it just doesn't look as good as the purple 1300 that came in today's mail

That's because it's PURPLE! Nothing looks as good as that except maybe... that gorgeous RED! I can't wait for SI to get them in stock.

Love mine. 650 &1300.
- charges in 3 & 6 hours. Awesome. Compared to x2 - 10 hrs.
- I sample tons of different flavors, and adjusting voltages really helps.
- I use a few different clearos, so again, flexibility is a big plus.

- the only downside is that 650 to 650, the spinner doesn't last as long, in part due to the higher voltage, and in part due to the nature of vv in general. Some energy is lost through the resistance in the form of heat. I notice my spinners warm up when used, even at low voltage.

All in all, love 'em. :)

EDIT: another negative is the cut off is 5 seconds, but not a big deal.

My 650 spinner is mainly used when I'm out and about. It's small size is great for my purse or pocket and I can still enjoy that added power of vv. I'll also take an X2 along as backup (just in case) but so far have not had to use it. It really lasts a long time and the charge is lightening fast especially if it's not totally drained. The 1300 is my stay-at-home favorite.

Bought some T3s to go onto my X2 batts since I liked the idea of replacing the element for $2.99 instead of buying whole X2 clearos for $6.
Was quite disappointed to find that with the T3s I could hardly taste my tobacco flavors (I do DIY nicquid).

Didn't know what the problem was. I even bought a Kanger T3 with adapter, but I had the same issues with that.

Was about to pitch the T3s when I thought I'd try a spinner. Maybe if I cranked it up a bit, it would help me taste those flavors again.

Got my spinner today, dialed it up to 4.1 and presto! I could taste my flavors again. Tried one of my Phoenix 808s on it and it was super. Now I get to stick with the T3s and still taste stuff. From now on, all I buy are spinners. They will gradually replace my 5 X2s.

I know it's only been a few hours with my spinner, but the few times I've had problems with SI hardware, it's almost always been right out-of-the-box, so I'm fairly confident I won't have issues with it later.

At this point I'm happily surprised with my spinner.
