Do you need an easy way to mark cartridges?

That's a good idea. If you're a girl, a boyfriend or husband/brother/father, you've (probably) already got the supplies, however the woman in your life might not take kindly to you steeling her nail products. For single guys who, as a general rule, don't have a lot of nail polish on hand... a few other methods might be:

Find some "Industrial" Sharpies. I work(ed) for an aircraft manufacturing company where we had them in every color imaginable... and wiping off an industrial sharpie mark is almost as hard as removing a swipe of paint.

You can get "paint pens" from craft and hobby shops. Probably as good as nail polish for durability, maybe better... and the built in applicator tip makes the "small dot" thing pretty easy.

Brother "tape" type label makers. Never have owned one, but I've sure used them by the bunch. Real handy.

More ideas? Keep em comin'.

I've got some AVERY "Color doding Labels" that I use to keep batteries in rotation. They're removable just like Post-Its, and you can write on them. That's not what I got them for, but I had lots left over.

ETA: That's probably the same as suggested by State O' Flux. Love the avater, by the way, Flux.

Personally I don't use anything as I like to be surprised - but I do keep the juices that are in my toppers out so I can narrow the flavors down if necessary.
I guess little colored rubber bands or hair elastic tie thingies - one around the bottle, same color one around the topper - would work.

A really low-tech way would be just to store the topper in front of the juice bottle of the flavor it contains if possible.

I haven't used cartos on their own since week one
For identifying anything I guess. Clearos, carto tanks, whatever. My wife and daughter have, between the two of them, 5 identical stainless steel EVODs going (full of nasty sweet fruit flavors... yuck), so I have to mark them so they know what's in what.

That's one of the reasons I use Valley View Vapes carto tanks... all the anodized colors mean I have built in color coding. ;-)

A Brother label maker and a pair of scissors to trim down the labels.

That last suggestion is my method. Of course I live alone............so I don't have to worry about children and my dog is small so he is not a counter cruiser. I have a whole section of counter w/ a cupboard above for Vape Central.
The lined up clearos w/ the bottles behind make a cute parade!
LOL
