Like it says are you in it for the long haul or plan on quitting someday? From my group of friends most of them do it for fun and never smoked much before they started vaping, one friend was a heavy cig smoker and I got him to go to ecigs and he hasnt touched a cig in a long long time, makes me happy and he is slowly moving down in nic levels and said he hopes to be off e cigs within a yr.

For me, my vape journey is over

After getting the flu recently and not being able to eat for almost a week many things make me feel like gagging just thinking about them, vaping happens to be one of those things. Gave it a shot yesterday and yup im done. Didnt enjoy it at all and felt like puking. Weird but it is what it is. Going to sell off/give away all my gear soon. While I enjoyed it alot im not really upset by quitting, ill miss it but at the same time thats money I can use for other things.

I'm not too sure. Sounds like a nice plan. Be completely free of all things nicotine. But I think I have a touch of the ADD and the Nicotine being the natural stimulant it is keeps me focused and able to complete my daily life obligations. I'd better stay with it for a good long while. I just need to start a dialogue with my Insurance company to get my juice covered so I don't have to go with an extended release concerta or something. Hahahha. :vapor:

I really don't know...I never really enjoyed smoking...but I'm finding that I really do enjoy vaping...I plan on going nic free or the occassional nic vape....but atm nope I don't plan on stopping...but then again one day....I'll prob quit but doubt that'll be any time soon, as I said I'm enjoying vaping...since I don't drink ;) vaping is a nice relaxing guiltfree activity I can do with my kids around :D

[edit]kinda hard to drink with kids and my work schedule, have to be alert at any given moment

Initially I started vaping with the idea that at some point in the future I will completely stop using any kind of cigarettes. But I got of the analogs and noticed that I did not feel the physical burden of smoking I somewhat changed my mind. I am not sure what the future will bring, but for now I am completely content continuing vaping :vapor:

While I am fairly new to vaping and probably into the "new toy" syndrome, I am thinking I will just work my way down to low / 0 nic and keep on going. I enjoy the whole physical part just sitting around, drawing down some good flavor and relaxing. I am with RobinBanks, lot depends on e-cig regulations. Mess with my fun, I find new ways to have fun! If it becomes a hassle to get my supplies, I probably will move on since the habit has been kicked! For now, going to keep on doing what I enjoy.

I personally never intended to quit smoking... "My parents didn't raise no quitter!" was my mantra for years...
(all 32 smoking years).
I did quit smoking for 3 years, but ended up back on the merry-go-round.
I didn't take up vaping to quit smoking, or save money... My company doesn't allow smoking in the company vehicles. If I needed to be in the drivers seat for more than an hour, I was smoking anyway with the windows down, no matter what the weather!
I wasn't fooling anyone, so I bought a couple e-cigs to "cheat". :D
I'm now a year smoke free, and thru that year I never intended to drop down from 24mg. I never intended to drop from 18-12mg... Never would have thought I would be down to 6mg, but here I am.
So... No, I have no intentions of giving up vaping, but we'll see where I am in another year or two, there's just no knowing!

I'm sorry it's over... but if you were always planning on quitting, I'm happy for you.

I found that it usually depends on stress level. I become more and more dependent on nicotine when I feel overwhelmed. So the plan isn't exactly to quit, but to start living an easier life, which would result in quitting. So whenever I start feeling whelmed, I'll drop into nothing but 0% nic and then I'll probably realize "I could just be chewing fruity gum" since you know, I'd only be doing it for the taste of the vapor and not the kick. The hand to mouth would be much missed, though.
