I used an 801 for several months, but kept reading abobout how the 510 was so great.

So I finally got a 510 and love it ! Much more like a real cigarette in feel and vapor.

Battery life is lousy, but heaven-gifts.com, among others I'm sure, now has 280 maH
battery to replace the normal 180 maH 510 battery. 280 maH is the same as the 801.

That still leaves the tiny juice capacity of the 510, but it goes a few hours so I can live with that.

Started with a Volcano L88b Deluxe starter kit, then picked up a dse601 pipe, then a 510 USB passthrough.

The 510 USB PT works with the Blu/Volcano attys and carts so that's my "goofin off at the house" setup. I use the 601 after dinner while watching TV to relax. I use my L88b while at work. All my equipment has seen daily use to some degree or another since aquiring them.

I was a 2 pack a day smoker when I heard a commercial on the radio about this new thing called an electronic cigarette named a NJOY?NPRO. Came home and goggled it and just happed to see that a truck stop about 45 minutes away carried them. So out of curiosity I went to buy my first E-cig the NPRO. Sad to say the very device that stopped me smoking now sits and collects dust.

After finding the forums and a ton of info on vaping moved to the 510. Then the flood gates opened; 901,801, 401, SB, vape 51, Vapor King, and juice box. I think it's more of a hobby now, one that saved my life probably, and oh so many flavors. Now with all the adapters I can mix and match just about any combo of things. Right now I'm using the SB (6volt)(510 main hub) with a 901 adapter, to a 901 auto/manual adapter(the one with the whole in the side) topped of with a cartomizer filled with Nhaler High Voltage French Vanilla Coffee. Which I slightly modified with extra French Vanilla.

I started vaping in June with the mini 901. The flavor was great but not much of a throat hit. I found them to be inconsistant; one good hit-the next draw hardly any. Seemed like every other draw was week. then I tried the M401-totaly no throat hit, then came the 501, loved it for awhile, then ALAS!-no more throat hit without killing the thing in one sitting and the batt life SUCKS! Now, I have the DSE801 penstyle...LOVE IT. I know not many of you like the auto batts, but I like them so much more than the manuals. I like to hold it in my mouth while doing stuff, the cut off doesn't bother me and I don't drip. Of course, it was a trade off with throat hit vs flavor. I'm all about the throat hit...I even vape at 48mg nic. Would love to get a mod soon, not sure which one yet.
Vape on...............

First was a Health-E Cig (absolute pita). Still functional, but reserved now for when I'm doing things where if it gets hurt I don't mind. Second shortly after was an M402 - still in daily use, followed by 510 which is relegated to crappy work like the cheap Health-E unit when I can work and have a hand free.

But my main daily usage is my 801 PTs and my big mods, mostly 801s

The wife brought home a SE Gold..... which started us down this path. The SE Gold quickly made it into a drawer somewhere.... but that led to her getting a 901 and me getting my first 510.

She is still happy and content with her 901.. although I have also set her up with a 510 that she uses now and then.

My 510 lives on as my primary vape. Usually it has a Mega battery attached... and the cartridges are 901 units with a mod.... but it's still a 510.

I've purchased other units since.. KR808D-1, Revolver (M702), etc.... but the 510 lives on as my fog cannon.

I have a question regarding automatic batteries for the Joye 510.

It seems to have stopped working after only 4 charges and I'm wondering if it might be that it somehow locked up or something? Is there a way to open the circuit manually to see if it hasn't just tripped up somehow? I heard someone mention using a paperclip to the effect I'm talking about, but I can't find the post.

I received a revolver elite about 2 weeks ago (my 1st e-cig) loved vaping immediately. Then Saturday I ordered a couple joye510's from cignot - got those in the mail Tuesday (insanely fast shipping and service!) and I'm not sure I'll be using the revolver very much anymore. The joye510 is just freekin cool. love it.

Not to bag on revolver by any means - they have been a pleasure to work with and its a great little product. I guess the 510 just seems a little more "industrial."

Started, the first week in March, with 3 styles, an old 2 piece that ran on a 901 battery, a 901 and an 801

Went to VP1 and VP2 for the 901 and 801 attys. Bought both a Prodigy and a 510..because they were there I guess. Really hated everything about the Prodigy so sold it so it could go live somewhere it would be appreciated.

The 510 is OK but nothing great. Started making my own box mods for the 901 and pretty well stick to those. I use a 901atty on the mod most of the time and a carto (also on the mod) when I want less vapor so I can "stealth vape" if I am out and about, in the movies, whatever.

I still have 2 of the original 901 attys working, all of the original cartos working. I found the 801 attys and batts to be the weakest of the lot in terms of how long they last, and the 901 to be the most consistent by many many miles ahead of the next closest.

I am a "chain vaper" and work from home so they all get a pretty constant work out.

I started with the 901. It had great flavor, decent vapor. But I just got so sick and tired of the constant filling with that miniscule cartridge size. Plus it never really vaped for very long even when the filler was totally soaked. All the fussing around with it was just a real nuisance. So no, I am not still using my original e-cig -- it's boxed up collecting dust. But I am grateful that it got me off the analogs.

I switched to the 2-piece KR808D-1. I love the disposable cartomizers, and at least one vendor has over 50 flavors. Some people do refill them (pretty easy to do), but right now I don't bother. The cartos are still cheaper than smoking. I save the empties "just in case." You never know -- I may want to refill them someday. That would be cheaper.

I'm very happy with it -- it's just so easy to pop on a new cartomizer. One carto lasts me most of the day; sometimes I will start a 2nd one in the evening. I use mostly manual batteries -- I have the extra-long as well as the regular ones. The xlong is almost like a mod -- I get about 4-5 hours on it, and I'm a pretty heavy vaper.

All in all I'm a happy camper, but I would consider anything new with longer battery life as long as I can use a cartomizer with it. Definitely won't give those up. Oh, and it can't look like I have a flashlight hanging out of my mouth -- not very ladylike, you know. ;)

Smokingeverywhere crap and no I do not use it. Ever since I got my first 501 I have used nothing else.

Amen to that! Started with Smoking Everywhere myself and all it was good for was the occasional puff of vapor that gave me an inkling that maybe there was something to this vaping thing. A week after receiving it I ordered my 510 and hadn't touched the piece of junk till last night when I filled it up just to confirm that...yep...it's absolutely worthless!
