Do you use Istick for RDAs

Hello guys;

I cant find the other thread where they were discussing the topic relevant to something that I was looking for. I am keeping an eye on sigelei 150W temp control box mod / smok xpro m80 plus for RDAs as I am getting an rda soon (to be very specific, its hazematic revolt RDA, if it helps me case) Currently I have iStick 50w that I use on daily basis with Billow v2. Anyone of you use iStick 50w for RDAs?

I don't only because I have 2 iStick 50 watts that auto fire when juice gets in the 510 connection. They were purchased back in March when the iStick 50 were having problems.

However, I do use RDA's on my iStick 20 watt and even on my MVP v2 (11 watts).

I agree with Susan. My 50W isticks are all early editions. I don't know if they've sealed things better now or not, but they are all running single coil RTAs. I don't think they are built well enough for subohming either. They can do it, but they might die quickly.

Not a dripping atty, but I run a Cthulhu at .5ohm around 35w all day on my iStick. It keeps up pretty well.

Thing is, while I've never had an issue with mine, I still don't trust it based on the issues other people have...So I've got an SX Mini on the way

I think the 50W only fires down to .5 ohms. Right? That will work, but it's under powered if you are chasing clouds.

I use a recently purchased Istick 50 with a troll rda. Dual coil, 0.7R. No issues. Last few days was running it at 45W, for prior 5 weeks generally at 25W. I'm a sloppy dripper

I've run RDAs on mine iStick 50w occasionally. When the atty gets hot, the heat transfers to the mod pretty fast, but it works well depending on your build. 0.6 ohms or so, it works well.

I use rda's on my istick 30w. I personally have no interest in subohm building so never an issue for me. I build from 1.2 all the way up to a 2. My istick can last me all day and then some

Oh, i thought a single coil might survive on istick as it has issues. I also thought RDAs at least require more then 60w for some reason. Perhaps it's because i haven't seen many people using RDAs on istick with dual coil. But then again i use billow v2 at .4 ohms with the dual coil. It fluctuate the readings after ever time i rewick it but then again i have built tge coils in a weird way.

You can comfortable run an RDA on a DNA30 if you build right. This Tugboat v2 works perfectly for me.

I have an iStick 40w TC and some nickel wire on the way. Its my first iStick, 1st TC device and I dont have any nickel coils for any tanks so I will be using a derringer. Ive never worked with nickel and Im hoping it isnt as tricky as others say.

Just don't build micro coils, be careful wrapping it (it's softer than kanthal and can break more easily), and use the steam engine as a build guide.

I have an Isitck 30 and have been running it with a "Big Dripper" clone from Tobeco with 1.0 Ohm dual coil 28g kanthal 7 wraps around dollar store 1/8" screwdriver and for the wick, square cotton pad cut into 1/4" strips....Also from the $1.00 store....VC Edit....Running at 20 watts,/4.4 volts....VC

I have an iStick 50 and I have used a Troll RDA (which I HATE), I don't know hwy it gets so many great reviews, the o-rings are awful, and a Doge V2. The Doge is great. I usually run single coils though as I don't feel I really get a better vape from dual anyway. Especially if its parallel. But that is personal preference.

Have hazematic RDA. Since i am waiting on my orders i have no choice but to use istick50
