Oh I don't know if I wanna do that. I think I will stick to either not vaping when I'm in a place that doesn't allow it or going outside. Seeing as like most have said we aren't sure of the long term effects I don't want to do something that might add to any potential adverse affects. Maybe I'm paranoid or cautious but it's just little ole me. :D lol

Regardless of vaping style, glad to see you've quit, and have a great 2012!

The big down side to smoking was the decree that all company vehicles were non-smoking areas, even if you were the only one who ever drove it. I could vape, but not smoke, so vaping was a no brainer.

I remember one 4 hour trip where I pulled off at an exit once an hour and smoked in front of gas stations, standing out on the sidewalk in front of the store. I vaped all weekend in a no smoking rental car recently and never heard a word from the rental company.

I do it at work all day. However the "smoke nazis" still run from it and some of them even believe in their minds that it's real smoke and react accordingly. coughing, fanning, etc....lol. I know if you hold it in longer it will dissipate. I've even been known to blow it into my shirt sometimes. It makes your clothes "Snuggly" fresh!

P.S. Twilight Zone marathon on SyFy...woot! Happy New Year! :vapor:

Vaping for just over a month. RN in a hospital. I'm to afraid to try it out at work. Most do not even know that I smoked analogs! I never smoked at work then. I hide out in bathroom. The old nurse Ratched types would blow a casket if I tried this in the break room. These are the same old crabby nurses who come in from their breaks smelling like an ashtray! So for now I will stay in the closet

OH how times have changed . . . for the better in most respects . . . but 32 years ago next month I gave birth to my first 8 pound boy and my cigarettes and ashtray were on the hospital tray table waiting for me when they wheeled me out of the delivery room. Same thing with the second 3 years later. Wouldn't dream of such a thing today . . . but is 30 years really THAT long ago???

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

OMG that is so funny! I remember being at the Houston Medical Center in mid 1970s waiting for for my Grandpa to come out of open heart surgery...we were all in the waiting room and out comes the surgeon, in full surgical scrubs....Dr Debakey, world renown cardio-thoracic surgeon with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. My how things HAVE changed!

Peace and Happiness to you in the next year!

I vape openly at work. My boss is a non smoker so when any of us would be smoking and he would come around he would start this little cough fit quite funny really. So when I started vaping he would stare and try the cough thing at first now he is like what ever about it :D but I have converted 2 co workers and even some of his friends lol

Hello vlee. I am in the same situation. I smoked analogs for about 2 years but just a few people knows that I smoked but none at my work. So They see me as a non-smoke guy, and I also vape only if theres no one in the office (late hours) or earlier in the morning.

I really liked the idea of the coffee that other people mentioned tho, I will try that out :D

But in the regular situations its still easier to go to the bathroom and have a few puffs stealth mode...

I vaped openly when I first started my job and was told to stop because people were so interested that they weren't working. I'm not even allowed to have it out in the open.

People are curious and love the nice smells/flavors.

So, it's not a health issue. It's a wasting time talking issue!

I'm in the Army and vape openly at work. I've gotten about 6 people semi switched over and haven't heard a negative peep from my command about it. One of my NCOs was in the operations center, on the phone with one shoulder, typing on the keyboard and monitoring two screens and pulled his ego out right in front of my BDE CDR, CSM, and XO and vaped big clouds of vapor right on the TOC floor. CSM looked like he was gonna have a heart attack, but the ol man just looked at hm with a big grin and said, "that's outstanding". Haven't heard anything about em since and the only thing people ever ask me is what flavor I'm using.

Had one guy laugh when I said snickerdoodle...lol

As far as people and their "informed" stupidity, I had one warrant officer swear to me he could smell the nicotine in the air where I was vaping, I looked at him and called him an idiot.
