Hello everyone I have both 2.5ohm and 3.0ohm versions of E2 V4 cartos and they both taste really bad at 6v. No juice taste mostly primer taste even after dry burning.

I use 6v because otherwise I cant get a good hit. Is there anybody out there with similar problems or is there anyone that vapes these cartos at 6 volts without any problems ?

Bruce was kind enough to send me these 3 ohm versions for free for me to try out after I had this problem with 2.5ohms. Thank you Bruce. This thread is not a complaint thread, you did everything you could already :)

Just trying to figure out if anyone can vape these at 6v without any problems

i had the same problem at 6v. i tried 3 different devices and all taste burnt. i thought it just wasnt wicking fast enough but i dont think that was it. works at 5v though. still not a fan. CE2 v4 cartos suck! they kinda ruin my carto experience.

I used to vape 5v or LR attys, I get a comparable good hit off the 2.5 on an Ego. I have not touched my HV PV since I got these. They are a little different and to compare ohms to a carto or regular atty doesn't seem to be the same hit. I've found it's kinda like starting over and finding which one works best for you.

I never heard of turbocarts but seems they are only 808 style, but I use 510. Maybe ill try a 2.4 ohm E2 with 3.7v but I doubt it will give me the hit similar to 6volts

I believe if they made the wick larger in diameter it would work with 6 volts. I think the reason to my problems is that 6v burns the juice in the wick so quickly that most of the hit comes from the taste of the burnt wick rather than juice.

good luck with e2's...i have had over 3 pack (1 of each ohm range) and they were all a waste. i have yet to use one that works.

I use the 2.5 at 3.7v. Even the standard 3.0 ohm E2s hate 6v. I've experimented with different flavors and fill levels.

This is the only thing I can sorta guess: The element/heat source/sizzly thing is right at the wick and when you fire off at 6 volts all the heat is absorbed by the wick and not distributed to the juice. Instead of providing a heat source that creates vapor 6v creates a hot wick.

There really isn't a throat hit, imo, with the E2s but there can be great, clean flavor once you get them working.
