1st of all hello to everyone here.

I'm vapeing (is this right?) for about 3 months now. First month I used to vape a lot less than I used to smoke (1 pack/day), useing less than a cartridge/day (dse 901 that is, kent flavour, 14 mg nicotine). But now I vape a lot more but I did went from 14 mg to 11 mg and planing on going to 0 mg next month. I really like it though I did gain some weight, about 10 kg the first two months, then I went on a diet and lost 5 kg the next month.

Been doing this since 1/31/2011, sitting at my desk at work with a USB PT I can vape all day long. Have a batt with me when I want to walk around (KR808). The same for my 35min trip to work in the morning and 35min back home.

Once I'm home though, it does slow down. I've got a 5yo, 3yo, and 1yo home with momma, so I don't have a stick in my mouth when I'm around them. Maybe one hit every 30-60min, give or take. I only smoked while I was at work before (tho not at my desk of course), didn't smoke at home or in the yard, just work and car, so this matches up with how I worked my analogs.

Biggest break for me was getting a DIY english toffee+VG+24mg cola juice mix perfected. Running this thru my used cartos until they die! :) Couldn't chain vape if I was sticking to just tobacco flavors, they are pretty harsh.

I vape so much more than I ever smoked! I was down to 7 cigs a day for the last several years. Now? I vape all day. It's ridiculous. When I first started, I vaped all day and night. I have slowed down quite a bit, not chain vaping anymore, but still an all day vaper. I love vaping and I loved smoking. I was like an alcoholic trying to keep things under control with cigarettes (and did a pretty darn good job of it, if I do say so myself!), but I guess with vaping, I feel like, hey, its harmless, so I let myself go hog wild. If it ever turns out that vaping is bad for you -- well all I can say is, I'll never see my grandkids!

I just remembered something that makes me laugh. When I first started looking through these threads gathering info, I saw many people talking about "pass-throughs" I found out they were hooked up to their computer vaping and as a person who never smoked in the house because it stinks so bad, I though, "Wow, these people can't even be at their computers without vaping?!" Yeah, I've got my ecig right next to me, right now!

Personally when I first started with ecigs I vapid a lot more than I smoked. Trying new juices, new PVs and accessories. But once I found a combo that worked (for me a precise 18650 and 306 cisco attys) I find that I vape waaaaay less than I smoked. Some days when I'm busy I probably only vape the equivalent of three analogues. And I used to smoke a pack a day!

Keep on vaping!

I wish there was a way to better judge how much vaping equates to what I used to smoke. I still do my vaping in the garage for now as I'm in the habbit of going out there for cigarettes. I find myself definitely going out there less but possibly vaping more than I would have smoked. I do vape in my car though which I never smoked in so that contributes to greater use as well.

The best and easiest way to measure if you are vaping too little, enough, or too much is by your own level of satisfaction. If you are satisfied and not craving a cig much if at all, then you are likely getting the right amount (remember, we absorb the nicotine differently from vaping than we do from smoking) but if you are woozy, sweaty (moreso than normal LOL), or nauseous than you are getting too much.
