Do you vape more than when you smoked?

About the same. Less in the car - yes, I smoked in my car, chain smoked. I couldn’t back out of the driveway without a cigarette burning. But I often get where I’m going without ever hitting the mod.

I make up the difference by vaping in bed, I didn’t smoke in bed.

I really doubt that's true....chain vaping all day cannot be safe, harmless and beneficial. I agree it's better than smoke, but chain vaping being beneficial is far fetched
On what basis do you say, "cannot"?

If you had written, "probably isn't", I wouldn't question that opinion.

My personal (admittedly anecdotal) sense is that it has a protective effect against colds at the very least.

Yes when Im sitting around doing nothing I pretty much sit there and vape all the time. Though when I go out say to watch a movie or something or if I'm doing a course I don't get the severe urge to vape like I did when I was a smoker. When I was a smoker and I was out doing something I'd start to feel like crap if I didn't have a cig

If you're interested...there are many links to studies showing the healthful benefits of nicotine in this (now closed) thread:

Vaping for nicotine advantages?

..
I have read those and I kind of agree with that if there were not other chemicals in the mix. If you could vape a shot of nic, maybe once a day, then perhaps it could be beneficial, but vaping non stop all day is a lot for our lungs

you really think there is a chance one can vape continuously all day everyday and have no I'll effects at all? Maybe our difference is time, as I'm not talking a day or a years time, I'm talking about ling term, like the numerous years most of us smoked for....you vape continuously (chain vaping like the quote said) all day every day for 20, 30, or more years and there's going to be a good portion of those people with something bad going on.....I believe my statement makes much more sense compared to someone saying absolutely nothing will happen . Personally I think it's common sense because our lungs arent meant to be continuously breathing in those chemicals. Now if the quote was someone not chain vaping all day, like a few mls per day rather then 30 or more, then I would have worded it a bit different....vaping continuously for 20 or more years is alot of stuff in the lungs, I just cannot believe that can be totally harmless

But you can be a chainvaper...without going through 30mLs/day. I've always pretty much chain vaped, and I go through a maximum of 10mLs a day @ 7mg/mL. With a Tootle Puffer set up that's very possible.

Since I don't inhale vapor into my lungs though...I could probably vape 30mLs (at approx. 2.3mg/mL) and not tell any difference in my health longterm. But that would mean I'd have to make 3 x the amount of DIY that I do now. Nope...not gonna happen. :)

Never really thought about that tbh, I just imagined it like cigarettes, in that you basically vape one right after another. Whenever I hear about someone who chain smoked, its usually like 4 or 5 pad. I always thought 1 pad was average, so figured a chain smoker was smoking 4 or 5 x's as much. I just put that math to vaping and figured if perhaps the average is 6mls a day, then a chain vapor is up over 25......
I just dont think it's a good thing to write a statement like spinfuel wrote. I hate the thought that a new vapor or someone thinking about vaping to go into it thinking it's not only totally harmless, but that it also can be beneficial. I much prefer the 95 percent safer then smokes idea, in that its harm reduction, not something that's safe to do .

There is this stuff called air you can chainvape if you are super worried. Perhaps something like Swiss Mountain air.

The Las Vegas airport has/had? (have not been in a while) an Oxygen Bar. They also have a sex shop, gambling, and the best Cinnabon ever. I could live in that airport, honestly.

There is also moving to the Swiss Alps and breathing crisp mountain air (it's actually really nice, my family used to go ski in the Alps every year when we lived in Europe) that's an option.

Or you can just vape however makes sense to you. I don't ever get wheezy and most days I hardly vape!

I really wouldn't presume to tell vapers how to vape without a really good longitudinal study, honestly.

This is just something you gotta decide for yourself.
