OK.... As you all know I am going to attempt to build yet another Vapor Docking Station/Storage Cabinet. I am currently drawing out designs for the doors. The inside design is done. I drew that out last night. I am going to be posting pics of the door designs and I would like for you, my friends and the people who have guided me through my first 2 months of vaping, to choose the final design. The final design will be chosen by each picture's votes.
This cabinet is going to be very special to me. As those of you who have been following this, you know that I have had a Severe Injury to the right shoulder (in which I am dominantly right handed) with several surgical attempts to repair. I went to see my surgeon yesterday and he is now calling it a 100% disability, no less than 80%. He has ordered a FCE test to obtain MMI/PPI rating to back this up. So you guessed it. This cabinet is going to be built mostly (about 75%) one handed. Now I'm not saying I wont part with it, But I wont part with it cheaply.
Unfortunately I will not be putting a mirror in this as planned. I got to thinking about it and 1) mounting it on the back wall of this is not only going to be a pain BUT I will be taking a chance on cracking the mirror as I tighten the frame down around it. 2) If someone did buy this it would take a lot of wadded up news paper and bubble wrap to protect it and it still wouldn't be protected enough. 3). A mirror would add un-necessary weight to the whole thing.. IT WILL HAVE LIGHTS though. Ok so be watching for the pics and make your votes. I think you all are in for a big surprise. I will tell you this. It is going to be 20" wide, 24" tall and about 17" deep.
I am doing all of the designing and wood working myself. I refuse to let anyone help me. Not only am I challenging myself but I have something to prove to myself. That I can do this.
Door designs will be up on Monday. Tuesday at the latest.
