lets say you want a strawberry flavor. that really only requires strawberry flavor and some pg/vg

however what i am asking is do you ever mix different strawberry flavors from like tfa and cap ?

or like for a pineapple you add a hint of some other fruit to enhance the flavor?

Im not saying like adding cream and getting a strawberry and cream.

Basically nothing that drastically changes the flavor so no apple pie.

but maybe 3 different apple like a candy apple a tart apple and a caramel apple

Sure, that's where it gets fun. Here is a list I go by as far as what would taste good together.

I like strawberry, watermelon, and coconut (Tiger's Blood) together. I've tried peach/pineapple and I think orange/pineapple. So, yes, mixing fruits is a way to go. Just have to watch that one doesn't overpower the other(s.) I've read elsewhere in the threads that sometimes one needs little dribbles of say strawberry or raspberry to counteract floral or perfumy overtones of a dominant fruit flavor. Not so much that you know it's in the mix, but just enough to "balance"

Sure. For instance, I make a simple Raspberry and an Apple Champagne. They also go good together. You can make multiple different tasting juices out of just two mixes. So, you can have a 'range' of great tasting juices without 'complex' getting in the way. I wish I could find an orange that is worth a damn that does not have that 'cream' taste to it.

I do that all the time. That's the fun part of DYI. Even if it's a failure it's a learning experience.
