The female thread on the atty connector on my Silver Bullet has got so worn (probably due to me continually knocking it off the table, usually just to see it land on its atty) that I can't get most of my atomisers to bite. All but a few just fall out. Disaster...I'm left with only my old pass-thru to keep me going.

I've already ordered some replacement atty connectors but for the life of my I can't see how to get the old one out. I imagine it would have to be pushed or knocked out from inside, but the inside of the top half of the Silver Bullet is sealed by a plastic spacer or bush of some sort, with a copper electrode in the middle to contact the + pole of the battery. The spacer has a slight flattening on one side just sufficient to get a very thin wire through but it's strenuously resisting all attempts to lever it out with a bent hairpin. I'm at my wit's end (and I think I may have broken the neck of the electrode now to boot).

How the heck do you get this thing apart to do replace the atty connector - or, for that matter, the switch? Anybody know? Google has failed me.
